I think Mr Cameron and Mr Osbourne would struggle to provide tigger with motivation. Got it on news feed now so I can see how their going to sc73w us over next!
Just have no will to do anything today, and got to get the bus to go to physio at 2:45 ish - bleugghhhhh.
Big hugs to happy, you will be ok, life throws us curve balls sometimes, and youare a strong woman, capable of catching that ball, and passing it right back on!!! x x xMarried the Man of my dreams 30/08/2008Baby No.1 arrived 04/04/2012, gorgeous little girl after 4 years of fertility issues!!:j:T0 -
I was just thinking that snoopy, an inspiring speaker Mr Osborne is not. The monotonous drone is making my baby kick like crazy though after a quiet morning, that's probably the most positive thing I'm going to get from this budget.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Oh I can't be bothered with that budget malarkey. We are basically all !!!!ed. And that Osborne has such dodgy eyes you could never trust him. He looks like a bisons backside!!DS1 born June 2000

Sounds like they've increased the max earnings for family allowance or whatever they call it these days so that will be good news for some of us (me for one!!). My DH is big into politics and economics so no doubt I'll get a detailed overview of it all...and his thoughts on it...later!!0

Hi Ladies
Just a quick question - has anyone been getting dull/achey pains on the top of their bump/bottom of ribs (on the right side) ?? I have been getting it for a few days now - mainly when I sit down and assumed that it was probably baby positioning. However just now, I foolishly bent over to pick something up, and OMG it felt like I was being stabbed!!! It was a hideous pain
I just wondered if anyone else had been getting similar pains??
(I am popping out to pick kids up from school now, but will be back later to read any replies, so thanks in advance)0 -
Hi Amy,
Yep a few of us have been complaining of this pain, my midwife says it's called rib flare and is common between 28-36 weeks stopping when the baby drops, she was sympathetic but could only suggest raising my hands above my head for a few minutes every half hour to ease the pressure! I find sittling sort of half up half down with lots of cushions is the only way i can get comfy, sitting upright makes it hurt the most
Am getting a bit concerned that my lovely DH seems to be of the impression that I'll cope so well with motherhood that dinner will be on the table every night, house will be spotless and I'll be the amazing wife that work has so far stopped my being! I know he's joking when he's talking to friends but my hormones are making me a bit nutty and I go to bed at night thinking "but does he really think that?!" Thankfully we have friends with children coming over this weekend so I'll be getting them to give him their take on how that works out for them!0 -

I managed to fall asleep about 4am and was then up at 6 getting little man ready for school. I feel like crap today and got so panicky last night I thought i was going to have to call my dad to come and sit with me. I must have eventually bored myself and fell asleep.
Midwife was the horrible one this morning but she was actually not too bad today. I explained how I had been feeling and she was very reassuring and put my mind at rest a bit. Maybe I should stop calling her the evil midwife now. BP and urine were fine. I'm still measuring big but I think that's just cos I'm a fat sod. Just got another appt at 38 weeks which is 3rd April so I'm going to just take it one day at a time and try to put these worries to the back of my mind.
Right, I'll go and read back in a bit.
xxx

You will have to give us all a simple run down later on, in simple terms, like an idiots guide to politics hahah.Hi Amy,

Get him told sooner rather than later that his expectations are far too high and some days you will be lucky if you get dressed and put the washing on lol.
Had a productive day today, all pram cleaned and set up, brought a tear to my eye (only used it for 4 months with DS but has been in the attic so gave it a quick clean and washed all covers etc). DS helped me, he is very excited too. Got all bags packed and car seat is in OH's car ready now0 -
I was thinking, I can't do it, but could someone post the list and put Sammie and baby Noah on it. Not sure it's been done for a couple of days and I would but I don't know how to do it.DS1 born June 2000

Good lord there was a lot to read through but I finally did it.
Thank you to all you lovely ladies for not thinking I'm an utter emotional nutjob. I still have no clue who will be my birthing partner. I just don't know who I'd feel comfortable with but I do have a few options so just going to see the circumstances and who is available. If all else fails there is my mum and although she is a nightmare I think I could put up with her.....just!!!
Flutterby - you have been a busy bee. Good luck with all the revising and with the eventual exam. It's good they brought your exam forward so you can get it out the way.
Lovecrafting - glad you got on ok yesterday and hope your monitoring went well today. Your reason for editing your post did make me laugh!!
Dinah - sounds like you are being looked after well and let's hope the cowbag of a midwife you spoke to last night was just a one off.
Emsbet - not long at all left at work then. Are you still going to try and look for agency work or not? I imagine it would be quite tricky when pregnant.
I can't remember anything else so I'll shut up now.DS1 born June 2000
