Did someone mention KFC? I could seriously demolish that.
I have just read back but I can't remember anything apart from that. Think it's lovecrafting who is now washing machine less. I hope you manage to sort it out as with 3 children and 1 on the way I reckon you must use it loads. Also I hope you manage to get a bit of rest so your little lay will stay put for as long as possible.
I was up most of the night with heartburn. As soon as I lie down it just appears in my throat. It's utterly horrendous. I may try and sleep sat up tonight but I'm not sure that will be very comfy. Going round to my brothers for some lunch but not really in the mood. He mentioned bacon butties though so I'm sure I can fit him in.
Hope you all have a lovely day. And Icey if you are about at any point then good luck for your induction tomorrow

Happydays - trust you to appear at the mention of a kfc
I feel for you with the heartburn, I have suffered horrendously too this pregnancy. Like you say as soon as you lie down it seems to appear, I'm counting down the days now until mine is gone for good. Hopefully yours will settle soon.

I've just got Rennie cos I can't abide that Gaviscon stuff. It just makes me feel so yucky and as if my throat is burning all the time. And I even abstained from chocolate yesterday trying to be a good girl and it was even worse. I may well have to put it back on the menu today. I feel the size of a cow today. I'm sure I'm going to start mooing when i walk around. I've never felt so unattractive in my whole life. I'm one huge pregnant mess!!!! XDS1 born June 2000

Emsbet, really excited for you RE 14 weeks already!
I felt my LO move for the first time at about 15 weeks, so not long for you now potentially! (the movements were only very slight, and I wasn't even 100% sure that it was bubs, but after I had a fall at 16 weeks, the midwife put the doppler on me and she heard it kicking which corresponded with me feeling the movement) Now at 27 weeks, baby is kicking me like a loon, which is lovely but sometimes I wish it would give me a little break as it's not entirely comfortable! :rotfl:
Thanks
OK time for Emsbet's question of the day..... When they take a sample of your urine at your appointments they send it to test for any infections right? Does anyone know how long it takes for them to call you if the tests pick anything up?
I had my scan/midwife appointment at the hospital a week ago yesterday, would the results be back by now? I'm just wondering because I'm still occassionally getting that sharp stabbing pain in the middle of my lower abdomen and I have notcied an increase in my need to wee the past week so I'm wondering if it's related on an infection.
Sorry for always asking questions, I know I should really be posting on the 12-24 thread but I like it here and that thread has bad memories for me. Feeling a bit wobbly today.

it only takes a day or so hun, if there was a problem they would have called you. if your worried about it call the early pregnancy unit and ask them if they can look up your results.
i know what you mean about the other thread, i couldnt relly post on there much after everything so this pregnancy i have stayed here0 -
I was feeling like you a few weeks ago happydays. Even though it probably feels a lifetime to you and I used to get really annoyed when people said it to me, you haven't got long left. Soon we will all be back in our size zero jeans
I had plans to put my washing away but for some reason I'm now led back in bed!!

Emsbet, thy don't always send the sample away, its usually only if the dip test they do shows up something that needs checking out more accurately. Like lovecrafting says, if you're worried then give your midwife a call. get used to the more frequent toilet trips though...they are most likely just a pregnancy symptom!0

I second what Lovecrafting said and im sure they would have got back to you had anything been wrong. But just to put your min at rest, it can't do any harm to give your midwife a call and check if it is stressing you out. If a quick 5 min phone call is worth peace of mind then i say go for it. And there's no such thing as a stupid question. xxDS1 born June 2000

Thanks Ladies.
They did the dip test and the midwife also took a sample of the urine so I'm assuming it was sent away for testing.
It's the sharp pain that is putting me on edge but I guess it's just stretching. It isn't that often at all and doesn't last very long. It is probably to do with the way I sit as it tends to only be when I'm sitting down.
I may give them a call this afternoon, it's difficult to find a private place to makes calls at work though so I may have to call tomorrow when I'm off.
