hi all, been for my scan today, i have lost some waters so have to go back in a week to see if i am loosing any more, if i have lost anymore they will deliver her. then i have a growth scan (providing i am actually still pregnant) a week later. her growth has tailed off a little bit but she is around 4lb now so looks ok.

Hope your next appointment goes well and you dont loose any more water. Baby is a good weight, I am 2 weeks ahead of you and mine is the same :o. Sending you lots of hugs xx

Morning ladies, not alot to report today! 7 days left at work after today! Its 7 days too many though, I have nothing to do and I'm soooooo bored!

Emsbet, I'm being made redundant in 2 and a half weeks too.....but mine is voluntary so a bit different. I'm very glad I won't have to come back as there have been loads of changes recently, most of my friends and people I've enjoyed working with have left and the job I was doing doesn't exist any longer so I'd have ended up doing something I hate (I have a rough idea of what would have been available to me if I'd been coming back). I'm very lucky to be in a position that i don't have to come back. I will look for something part time eventually but it won't be a career just something that brings in a bit of cash and isn't too stressful so I can just go, do what I'm there for and then go home and leave work at work if that makes sense?!

I notice a few of you due around the same time as me are starting to suffer with pain down below. I guess I'm pretty lucky as I haven't experienced that yet which I'm quite surprised about as I'm carrying very low.

All the talk of food is making me very hungry. I think DH and I are going to have a walk on the beach and then get fish and chips on Friday, i'm not a big F&C fan but occasionally I really fancy them....I won't enjoy them as much as I think i will though, I never do! Mr tesco is delivering tonight and is bringing 3 pizzas, they're meant to be for DH when he's on late shift but I doubt he'll get all 3 lol! I'm such a pig when it comes to pizza. ooh just realised I've also ordered ingredients to make homemade pizzas too, I'm going to be in heaven this week!

i'll shut up talking about food now.....honestly, anyone would think I was eating for 2!!!

Oh yeah that's what I meant to say, Lovecrafting, hope baby manages to stay put for another couple of weeks but its great that you've managed to get this far! I think you're a week behind me and last week my little one was estimated to be over half a pound smaller than yours so she's obviously doing quite well in there! Will this be the biggest baby you've had?

yeah she will be the biggest and the longest gestation. it would be great to have a baby that dosent need special care but im not counting any chickens just yet.

Atleast if special care is still required then fingers crossed it should be for a much shorter time that with your others. Hopefully she'll hang in there for a few more weeks and not need it. There was a lady on here a good while ago who was losing her waters from REALLY early (about 15 weeks I think?) and I don't think she delivered particularly early so you never know!

thats what i am thinking, another 2 weeks and she wont automaticly need it. with dd1 i lost mine from 19 weeks and was in hospital until i delivered. im not overly worried to be honest, they are keeping an eye on me so i do feel reassured by that. going full term was never going to hppen, i knew that from the start, im just gratefull to have got this far to be honest.

someone sent me some loveley newborn bits in the post and they arrived today, there are some tiny baby bits int here that will come in verry handy.

and my washing machine just broke so i need a new one now lol think i might start today all over again.

    Morning all :)

I'm off work today, did too much walking yesterday I think and today I woke up with terrible sporadic pain across the front of my foof and under my bump - could this be SPD? It's weird though, doesn't seem to hurt consistently - some movements are really painful, but when I do the same movement again, it doesn't hurt.

I feel bad for not going to work as I'm not "really" ill as such, but DH insisted that I should rest. I'm bored already though!

((hugs)) lovecrafting, I'm sure your little one will hang in there a bit longer yet. Try to keep positive as you will help things by being as relaxed and unstressed as possible (easier said than done I'm sure!)

Sammie - that is exciting (but gross!) :D Hopefully it won't be much longer for you now...!

Emsbet, really excited for you RE 14 weeks already! :) I felt my LO move for the first time at about 15 weeks, so not long for you now potentially! (the movements were only very slight, and I wasn't even 100% sure that it was bubs, but after I had a fall at 16 weeks, the midwife put the doppler on me and she heard it kicking which corresponded with me feeling the movement) Now at 27 weeks, baby is kicking me like a loon, which is lovely but sometimes I wish it would give me a little break as it's not entirely comfortable! :rotfl:

My builder hasn't turned up yet today.... I suppose he's thinking he'll get away with it as no-one is supposed to be at home! He'll get a shock when he eventually does arrive and I'm here!

All this talk of chocolate is making me hungry! DH and I have already decided though that we're going to have KFC for tea tonight. I've been craving it for days, which is weird as I don't normally like it very much, and tonight we're going to cave in and get some! :p

Lovecrafting - hope you can get a washing machine sorted, I think I would cry if mine broke now with the amount of washing we get through!!:o

Didn't sleep well last night, the insomnia has crept back!! Was losing "stuff" all night too so a bit uncomfortable. Might crack on with the housework then have a nice warm bath!! It's the only time I get some peace when the boys are at school!!
