morning ladies. Good luck today Sitting.

I'm at home today, was meant to be working till lunchtime but decided to take the full day off instead seeing as its snowed again. DH has banned me from leaving the house! It wouldn't be so bad if work was close but I have to drive 30 miles each way.

Chocolate, I love things like maltesers (especially those easter bunnies and the celebrations ones), mini eggs, M&M peanuts, minstrels. I also really like mint aero but at the minute any thing will do! The other night I ate a bag of cadbury's snow bites leftover from xmas, OMG they were gorgeous!!!

If it makes you feel any better, having hung around on this board for months now, ALOT of ladies on here went for TT sets and bottles because they have had v good offers around, and many of the ladies have had real problems with the TT bottles giving their LO's bad wind/colic, so you may have done your self a favour. (I think Gilly [?] has just had this problem)

It seems to work best to just get a few different bottles and see which one suits the LO's best, and then get more of those rather than risking unusable outlay.

Oh really? Ok,maybe just as well then. I liked the look of the set tho as it came with travel steriliser, warmer etc. can you use different bottles in one steriliser tho? This is the only thing that confuses me tbh. What do you recommend? X:)

HV said this morning unlikely to be bottles as they were fine for a while. Ee've to take LO to doctors incase its silent reflux. :( he's been crying since 11 o clock last night with a 3 hour sleep inbetween.

FWIW lucy I have 2 friends who have used TT bottles and steriliser and theyve jad no problems so I wouldnt let it put you off. xx

  • Has anyone else had a home visit from the MW?? Everyone I know seems to think it's unusual that someones coming to mine.
Talking of that I'm sat here waiting in because they are a bit stretched today as they have a few home births going on...dunno if I'm nervous or excited!! :D

My booking in was done at home and I think when I change to 2 week checks at 34?? weeks they will be at home. Doesnt really matter for me as the surgery is only round the corner but I guess it is easier for women that dont live near by.

I want to know more about the Lindor choccies for £1, were they reduced or scanned at the wrong price?? :)
  • When i was in Southampton, ALL midwife visits were home visits, so actually finding it a pain i have to go to them this time haha!

Yum, i had marmite on toast for brekkie today :) Just having a fried egg and sausage bap now ;)

Tommee tippee bottles, we used them for DD3 and had no problems at all. U can actually get colic bottles for tommee tippee if ur worried tho! We have gone with TT again this time. Only ever tried Avent with DD1 and she couldnt get on with them at all.

Hosp parking, ours is only £2 a day, and people up here moan about paying that! Jeez, our old hosp was over £4 just for 2 hours! I`m not sure how i`m going to get to hosp when i labour tho, depends how it progresses. Thinking a friend atm, but obviously i`m worried about waters going in the car, same as if i get a taxi :/

Just had Dr on the phone, they are advising to give baby normal milk from the start, but are willing to give hypoallergenic formula the second i raise concerns its not agreeing with baby. So thats something at least. I`m actually going to go and buy some lactofree milk myself i think, as dont want to be having to wait a few days for drs to get a prescription done if i`m not able to get out of the house etc.

Its freezing today, but no snow so thats a good thing! Have a good day ladies! xx
