    morning ladies,

can't believe we haven't had a new baby now in over a week! Come on babies, we want to see yoooou! :D

OBEM last night was awful, I cried so much (I think DH had a bit of eye-leakage too!). That poor little baby with her little broken arm :( So scary.

Thanks for the reminder about pelvic floors, Kira. I must admit I keep forgetting to do mine, anyone got any tips on how to remember?! Also, is it better to do lots of short fast ones, or fewer long ones....?

Working from home today, which is great (especially as have had a cold and cough all week) but it's so cold! My hands are freezing. DH is poorly too (IBS) so he's off sick today - so tempting to go and join him on the sofa with a film, lol! :p

Prob not the best place to ask, but does anyone know the best place to buy those big stackable plastic storage boxes with lids? We're having our loft converted and need to clear out the loft - need something tidy to put all our crap in! Also got bags full of baby clothes/nappies/toys accumulating, would be good to put them somewhere tidy until we've got the nursery decorated (I say decorated - it needs to be built first! )

Have a good day everyone :)

    BB x

I got some of those boxes, 2 for £10 from instore/poundstretcher, not sure if they are regional or just local stores though. B&M also have some too.

I agree OBEM was so so sad, I was in tears too and was holding my breath waiting for Laragh to breathe.....funny way to spell Laragh too.

    Enjoy your film :)

I was told to aim for a minimum of 3 sets of 10, and gradually increase the time you hold each one for- upto 10 secs per flex. You can't do too many though!

yes you can put them in the dishwasher, however they wont be sterile unless you use the hot cycle or use the (i dont know if its milton) sterilising dishwasher tablets

Oh i`ll still sterilise them after, just thought i`d make the most of having the dishwasher and not having to stand at the sink to wash anything up anymore :rotfl:

Sammie this is the first time i`ve ever had one, and have had to sacrifice having my tumbler in the house (now in the outerhouse where its FREEZING!!) But it will be so worth it once its plumbed in!! :T

Been to Asda and managed to spend £25 on, well not alot really, just snacky foods! Did get some baps tho and sausages and eggs....so guess what i had for lunch :p x

have you got anything nice planned for today?

Just had tea and cake in the office and got my leaving presents, sanctuary mum to be gift set, huge bunch of pink flowers and £120 boots vouchers, so much more than what i was expecting.

I'm still waiting on it sinking in and the tears coming but nothing yet :)

About storage boxes, we get ours from Ikea for a few pounds.

Jeez this LO had me worried today, she's been so quiet but now I've had a sandwich I've had five definate twitchy movements, the relief is amazing!

BB - boxes, I got some in B&M last year, they were definately the cheapest place, if it's just packing boxes you're after in the shorter term Ikea has really cheap plain cardboard ones, we've just sorted our under stairs cupboard with them!

A lovely friend of ours came last night with a huge bag of clothes for LO, they're lovely and I'm really grateful but will only be able to have space for about half of them! Gonna spend a good hour tonight having a good sort out, I love looking at baby's things!

    Thanks

She did offer me another one, but I declined. I would just be dreading every day until then, which I didn't want. Plus with it not being guaranteed, and with my finding it verging on painful, I thought rather not. Hopefully things will either progress naturally, or i'm in on Thursday. At least if I go to the hospital on Thursday, i've got gas and air on hand for when they start me on anything :)

That's a shame mozzy but like you say at least you have a final date now if things don't happen naturally. Your baby must be waiting for the weather to warm up!! :D xxx

I don't know how you ladies that don't nap in the day cope!! I feel like a walking zombie most of the time and I'm always napping!! :D xxx
