Hi Mozzy. So, no sweep anyway in the end! Typical after psyching yourself up. Re induction, my hospital antenatal ward wouldn't give g&a to us- had to be on way to delivery suite before they would give you it..worth checking their policy on it when you arrive and are clear headed. I didn't and was in a right state and unable to argue or question when they refused me..Married 13/03/10 #1 DD born 13/01/12!!

Raspberry Leaf tea - You can only drink this when you are in your final month but I swore by it on my first pregnancy and labour was only 5 hours on gas and air. Worth while drinking it for the last two weeks of your pregnancy.
Science bit it below and you can get it in Tesco or any health shop for under £2.
"Raspberry leaf tea also contains the alkaloid 'fragine' which is said to strengthen and tone the muscles of the uterus, helping them to contract more efficiently during labour. Research has found that taking raspberry leaf during the weeks prior to delivery helps to shorten the second stage of labour by making contractions more effective. Some studies have also found that it reduces the need for an assisted delivery (i.e. an emergency cesarean or use of forceps or ventouse).
Sipping raspberry leaf tea during and after the birth is also said to help the uterus contract back down to size, reduce after birth bleeding and help initiate the let down of breastmilk. "

It's quiet on here today.....I have just had a wispa gold, brought in by one of my lovely colleagues after I mentioned one yesterday. Yum yum. Trying to only have chocolate at weekends as I am murder for eating a bit everyday at various intervals lol.
What is your favourite chocolate bar? Mine has to be either a biscuit boost or mint matchmakers
I want to try a new orange kit kat chunky too.0 -
double/triple choc kit kat chunkys that are out at the mo are amazing. I'm not eating a lot of chocolate because apparently it's bad for breast milkThe frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0

I agree that baby will only come out when it wants to.. I did a long walk for over an hour 4 days before DS arrived, think that also helped. Didn't mean to go walking for that long, just had a huff on with my OH as he was debating about playing golf the day after my due date.. Let's just say i was not amused! :eek:Tiger

Normally I would say Maltesers/Kit Kay Chunky/Wispa but I have gone off chocolate totally. As well as coffee. But I'm loving crisps, especially ready salted/salt and vinegar. Oh and also Jelly Babies, I ate a full packet yesterday afternoon (1/2 price in Sainsbury's) then fell asleep at my desk.. Obv my boss was out!!! xxTiger
