    hope things are ok rebekah.

Chrissy1981 - Peterborough is where i live. kiddicare is cool, we got car seat and buggie from there. the lads are so young on the car seat section but they know everything. they will check car seat fits in your car if you want, same with buggie section. i had to try buggies in my boot as mine is quite small. have fun!

i have been baking as well today - ginger cake to take into work tomorrow as have a get togther with work colleagues to say goodbye tomorrow morning with coffee and cake. although my last day is on friday.

car is getting a service tomorrow, trying to get all thse jobs done before baby comes along.

has been raining most of the day here but not too bothered as it keeps it a bit cooler - have been wearing only maxi dresses as feel warm all the time.

    Congratulations Fluffnutter :)

I wonder if Rebekah has had her baby, it's getting later in the evening?

All the talk of cake is making me hungry. I'll have some tomorrow though as it's my son's birthday. I've just got to make it first!

After all my moaning last night I'm feeling much better today. I went round to see my friend this morning, and it was nice just to be out of the house, it really cheered me up. And even better whilst I was out DH finally went down the dump and I came home to clear floors :) Then he did half the garden this afternoon, so he's not in my bad books anymore!
Toothache is still driving me mad, but there's no point going to the dentist. The problem is a rotting amalgam filling and the dentist has said they are dangerous to remove and replace during pregnancy. I'll be booking in to get it sorted in October though.

Hope everyone's having a good evening, I'm off to bed for an early night and catch up on some sleep.

the risk of removing an amalgam during pregnancy is minimal if the dentist does it right - i wouldnt replace it with an amalgam but if you get hte nasty one removed and put a temporary in there it will relieve your pain the risk of infection is much worse than the risk of getting it removed babes
love you lots like jelly tots :o

It failed. I'm in pain. And the drug they give you is not nice at all. Offered me another turn on Thursday but I don't know if I can go through that again. Myst omach is red and i'm sure will be bruised by the morning. She turned transverse and a tad more but jsut wouldn't go in the pelvis by a matter of inches. Don't know if I can go through it again but hwen its so close?! Who knows. Anyone had both? Was the cs easier to cope with than the ecv? So far I would say if you don't have a meduim/high pain threshold isn't not really worth it. Had to breath deeply through it. That said I have had a late turning and if they tried 2 or so weeks ago it may have worked so if you are less than 38 weeks worth a go maybe. They did stop every now and then to check the heartbeat and that really does help you do compose ready for the next bit.

Sorry to hear that Rebekah! Is there any chance of her turning the rest of the way herself now?

Fluff huge congratulations on the birth of Freddie. Glad you're both home and settling in. Sounds like a whopper baby. Looking forward to more details when you've recovered a bit.

Rebekah sorry It didn't go well. Has she stayed semi turned or gone back to her breech position? This is my first so I don't really have any advice. Sending big hugs xxxx

Hi to everyone else, off to bed. Still can't shift this headache So hoping a good early night will sort it. Hugs to all that need them and labour vibes to the boldies. Night night xxxxx

I kinda wish I was still at work lol, strange how we all want what the other has. I've been off ages now due to problems with my pelvis and back and some days I can hardly walk so travelling 30 odd miles for an 8 hour shift isn't feasible so I go stir crazy at home.

No doubt you will get out of work and then be on here moaning your bored after a little while lol x

Lol Thanks ikkle but I actually need to stop working so I can study so, in a way, I'll still be working. I'm planning to stop all 4 weeks before EDD. I know what you (and Katy) mean about being bored though, hence why I'm making a long list of things to do during that period!

I'm glad you enjoyed your antenatal classes Missmonkeymoo and thank you for sharing the knowledge!

Thanks to MrsManda for sharing your experience as well. Really appreciate it!

    Congrats to Fluffnutter!

Sorry to hear that RebekahR. I don't know much about these things myself but I'm sure someone else here will be able to comment...
