    Thanks,I'll give it a go.

Another question: can anyone recommend a pregnancy pillow? I am getting to the point, where I need to support my bump when laying on the side. The dreamgenii look nice, but I can't imagine actually using it - how do you turn on the other side without getting up and turning it over or something?

I didn't turn it, just pushed the long bit between my legs from behind and it was fine. However, once I reached 26 weeks I found the pillow too small, it wasn't wide enough and it was squashing my bump. Also if you are 5'8" like me you'll find that the long bit that goes between your knees is not quite long enough :( What a waste of money. I went back to normal pillows.

I use it. Got it for christmas. Very comfy indeed! Turning over is one of the downsides but I think this would happen with any pillow tbh. You will have to pull it out from between your legs - lift it - turn over and then u can pull it through ur legs backwards but depending on what position ur sleeping in this can be hit and miss as to whether it works. If you end up being a fidgit bum like me you will just get up to wee first then come back and turn it over before getting back in :rotfl:

As an alternative to the dreamgenii my friend uses the body plus sleep pillow from mothercare and thinks it's the only reason she gets any sleep.

(I've not tried either as I don't need one yet so cannot comment from personal experience)
  • Good luck Gilly!

It only took me 3 hours to get from 4cm to actually having Elliot, so hopefully it won't be long for you now :)

Am worrying slightly. Someone mentioned self injections after a c section on another forum, and someone said that they also had to self inject after a vaginal delivery. This is because of their age. They are 38,same as me. I'm scared now:(

Self inject what Lucy?! My MIL had her 4th son at 41 and didnt inject anything? I`m presuming these other people must have other conditions, so dont worry about it at all xx

I'm not sure, something to do with anti clotting. I hope so. I dont mind injections at all but had to self inject arthritis meds and developed a phobia of self injecting:(
