Finally got my tens on. Contractions seem to be coming every 8/9 minutes. We think

Hi Gilly am here xx how far are u from your hospital? Hope ur tens is helping I just kept on my feet walking around at home

Gilly good luck will keep refreshing my page in case u post ! Remember each pain is one step closer to meeting your LO and try (difficult I know) not to tense as it will help u deal with contractions, I'd recommend squeezing the anatomy of oh as he got u in this predicament.
I know u don't have a mw but Assume u have a labour number to call so if u want guidance ring it as I did when not sure what to do

I really cant walk about Im really struggling. Im so tired hosp is a mile away

I understand hun xx it's blinking hard work just do whatever you can to try and deal with it. I had pain in back (as well as front) so put hot water bottle on and off on it which helped a bit. If you are really struggling can always ring for advice xx its very good that you are so close to hospital xx

Also remember to keep hydrated (sips not too much in one go) and keep weeing regularly xx

I have to confess I did utter rude words in labour in front of my mother and felt better for it ....
Right monster asleep he needs feeding so time to change his nappy eek !

Thanks so much Ro. Im sitting on my ball now and feel a bit better for it. They seem to be coming every 6 minutes and lasting about a minute.

I think it helps to have a friendly ear when things are tough. That's really good Gilly that they are getting closer and you have found the most comfortable position for you. I must confess I am not very agile and probably would have fallen off a birthing ball!!
Just been getting bottles for LO and realised water looks cloudy ! Think we have been giving him water that had too much line scale in it eek! Don't know how to descale a kettle as we don't normally use it as don't drink tea or coffee...
Scott has taken to trying to aim his wee at the wall behind where we change him and hubby said well as we won't be using the cot bumper he suggested putting it on the wall:eek: !!!!!!?
