Morning all
Happy V-day Emsbet :jHave a good meet up today
(((hugs))) Miss Money and to all the boldies am sending massive labour vibes
Very quick one from me as I have a ton of stuff I need to do - my mum is coming to house today to see me (I normally go there as she can be very judgmental) so I need to get the house clean - well cleaner than it is to avoid a row.... this has not been helped by the fact that DS managed to knock out the top shelf of my fridge this morning when trying to get his lunch box out so I have had to add the river of smashed beetroot, single cream and eggs to my listI would have told him off but to be honest, I think it shocked him so much he kinda paid for it - he burst into tears lol
Also neighbours have just arrived back after dropping kids off so am going to put music on as loud as I can as part of operation payback
Have a good day allwill probably be back later

Morning all, midwife appointment today. I'm hoping she'll declare baby is engaged but I don't think he is
New change though - since yesterday evening I've been getting 'hot' shooting pains across my lower back. I've been having BHs across the front for weeks but this is the first time I've been having pain in my back. It doesn't feel like I've hurt my back as they only last about 30 seconds at a time and it's not worse when I'm walking around.
Wow so many boldies, labour vibes to you all
For those overdue, when does your local NHS offer sweeps and inductions? In our antenatal class we were told that I could have a S&S on my due date, another at 40+5 weeks and induction at 40+12.
LittleMoog I wouldn't worry too much but if you continue to lose weight I'd ask the midwife about it. My friend lost weight throughout most of her pregnancy and her midwife kept telling her that there was nothing to worry about and basically just ignored it. Despite her fundal height/bump size growing along within the right percentile (though at the lower end) it turned out that baby didn't grow as well as she should've. My friend gave birth almost 2 weeks late to a low birth weight baby (5pounds) and though she only spent 4 days in hospital it's taken 4 weeks for her to be able to feed properly.
I don't say this to worry you, and the chances are you'll start putting weight on again if you're eating OK but my friend wishes she was taken more seriously when she worried about her weight so I just wanted to let you know her experience.
Labour vibes to those who want them0 -
Happy V day emsbet.
Little Moog, I have lost just under a stone although not weighed myself for a little while. I can also stand to lose a little more. As long as you are eating and not losing loads it should be fine. (again if worried check with MW)Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Hi Ladies,
I moved on from this thread in August last year when my DD was born. She's now 9.5months old and moving around. Strange to think that I was a blob this time last year (and now I need eyes in the back of my head with her).
I hope you dont think I'm being cheeky - I'm over on the FB newborn group now and I asked the ladies - but can I ask a favour of you all? As mum / mums to be, i figure a lot of you are on the bounty website???? If so, my baby has made it to the final 10 in the bonjela baby smile competition. Would you be so kind to vote for her if you think she's a cutie? This is her below, and the link http://www.bounty.com/competitions/112412/entry/112612
I have to say I am also jealous of you all being pregnant still, I really miss it! Good luck to boldies and happy and healthy pregnancies to you all. See you on the FB group soon xxx:heart2: Mummy to one gorgeous little girl :heart2:0 -

LittleMoog I've lost weight too but because I have a higher BMI the consultant said its ok as I can afford to lose the weight, and when you have the scans they do measure to check things are measuring at the right rate. If you are worried though then mention it to midwife.
Does anyone else feel like their friends don't give a damn now your pregnant? I'm one of a group of 4 friends and the other 3 keep meeting up for dinner etc and just blatantly ignoring me, unless its cos they need a babysitter. It's not like it's all about me being pregnant either as 2 of them have only recently given birth (a couple of months ago) Just feels like i'm invisible. Only people I ever get to spend time with is my OH and my grandparents and sometimes one of my Aunts, just feels like everyone else thinks I don't exist. Oh and I asked my OH for a cuddle this morning and he said no and told me to get up out of bedMoan over.
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
xx Mama to a gorgeous Cranio Baby xx

Ikkle, I find friends and some family members avoid me now. Different circumstances but nobody knows what to say to me so just don't say anything at all. It is a little lonely this way though - Only a few know about Ladyboyd as we haven't spread the news outside the family (although most of OH family don't know yet)Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Having a rubbish day. OH's car exploded yesterday and has been carted off. Went to airport this morning in my car. Exhaust fell off on the M27. OH missed his flight. He's cross that he has to work another day from home because his remote access doesn't work since they upgraded it so all he's got is his phone and he can't do any work or email properly. Plus he felt really poorly yesterday (better today though) which is same old, same old but he got really upset because he's so tired of feeling rough all the time. So I cried about that. And I cried by the side of the motorway today but mainly because it was rush hour and I was stood in my pyjamas on the hard shoulder."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0
