The SNP wanted to emulate the economics of Iceland and Ireland not so long back, they've now removed that "dream" from their website

How can you trust that sort of judgement from Salmond? - has he publicly said he got it wrong?

They've also refused to say what if any legal advice they've taken over the EU question claiming that to do so would be "contrary to the public interest"

excuse me!! - I'm the public and I'm interested

As i have said political parites are not perfect and need kept on thier toes. However Norway was in that ark of prosperity but no one ever metions that, with the oil we are more like Denmark than the other two.

The UK's GDP is worse than Greece, its just we are a oil based ecomomy so the markets will still lend at decent rates.

I would rather a polition that said they got it wrong rather than ones (tend to be labour) that never admit they were wrong till they are out of power.

In what way do we not pull our weight?

We put nearly 10% into the ecomomy and get around 8% back.

How do you work that out?
By ignoring things which serve the whole UK?
Defence, Overseas Aid, Diplomacy, Central govt?
