I can't remember my user ID but can probably answer the security questions. Can anyone remind me what form the user ID is in? e.g. does it contain my name, numbers, random digits?

Might be able to find it in a list of random notes with a clue! Oh the joys of online banking.

My web user ID was 9 digits starting with 130. If we all applied last January perhaps we all have similar account numbers? HTH

OH and I have rather different ID numbers, I'm afraid. We would have applied at roughly the same time.

Did you actually register to use Monmouthshire's rather clunky 'My Accounts' online system?

The reason I ask is that there was no need to if all you were doing was depositing your £12k (for Issue 1 could be in a lump sum) and not withdraw until end of bonus period.

If you did register you'd have received an email confirming your registration, followed by a letter with your Web User ID (2 weeks later in my case). Needless to say I've kept both :p

You could try to register again for online access. You'll either get an email telling you about the registration process, or one telling you you're already registered :o If you are already registered, you can tell them on the Log In page, that you've forgotten your log in details.

    Good luck :rotfl:

I definitely registered, and setup online withdrawals, only to lose the log-in details!

I still can't find my username, and they will only send it by post so will just close the account by post.

    Thanks for the help.

    You're welcome.

My memory is so bad these days that I have to keep all emails and paperwork for my accounts until closed and then keep just the opening & closing letters. I also have a spreadsheet on a USB flash drive, backed up to an external hard drive. Overkill? :rotfl:
