As have I. It does take their website 24-48 hours to acknowledge the deposit though it is backdated to the date that the transfer was made.

just a reminder that if you opened a flexible saver a year ago, its coming up to the time to withdrawal - just make sure you dont make more than 4 withdrawals before the bonus period ends

A further reminder. If you haven't already set up a linked bank account for online withdrawals you should do it now. If you have over 10K in there you should also set up telephone banking security because MonBS will ring you to confirm your withdrawal/closure request. To close the account after your anniversary bonus date, you send a secure message via their online banking.

If you have the issue 1 version of this account, it might be worth keeping open with £1.

12K limit per account year from 1st April, 2%, and 4 free withdrawals per year.

With rates collapsing 2% is starting to sound OK. ;)
Do Money Saving sites make you buy more bargains - and spend more money?

Thanks. Do you mean you need to complete and return the form linked from here?

Yes, 2% doesnt seem to bad at present. I will look for a rate to beat this but am tempted to leave my 24k in the account for the time being. I am right in thinking i'll get 2% on the whole 24k until i withdraw (leaving the account open with a quid of course!)

    Thanks

You should be able to beat 2%, even if you have to open a current account (or several) and circulate money through them every month eg:
Santander 123, LTSB Vantage, BOS Vantage all pay up to 3%

However, as a fall back, it might be worth keeping this account open - I intend to leave a very small balance, just in case 2% is the best rate later this year

You will get 2% on whatever balance you leave in there, though that rate is variable, so could be reduced :(.

Yes, that ought to do it. It's so long since I registered, I've forgotten exactly how I did it. Fortunately I'd written down the answers to the security questions. ;)
