Right B has been bathed and fed and is now going for a sleep so I'm going to strip my bed since its been weed on, pooed on and sicked on this morning so extremely glad I didn't change it yesterday!
MIL is hoovering downstairs as I type so I'd best get on with my bed.0 -

Bed stripped and made, upstairs hoovered, paper work all taken downstairs, DVDs put away and B fast asleep. Waiting for MIL to finish hoovering under my bed so I can put the rest of my stuff away and go get showered. Got jinks at the vet this afternoon so need to dig out his carrier.0

Hi folks. Can I join please? I got a shock last night when I realised just how thick the dust is on my bed frame. I have really let things slide with cleaning - it is geting started that I find hardest and getting into a routine. Now that I am self-employed I spend alot more time at home but still can't get myself organised with cleaning.
Made a small start by putting the towels from the bathroon in the wash. Heading off now to clean the sink, toilet and shower.
One problem we have in our bathroom is that there is black soot on the walls - not too thick though - the result of burning a yankee candle in the bathroom. I had no clue the flame from the candle was so sooty. I would like to freshen up the bathroom this year but don't know what to do about the soot. It won't just wipe off with a cloth. But it is on top of wallpaper nd I don't want to damage the wallpaper. Can I just paint over it?? Help please!

I don't know whatever possessed me to do it but I put a dish covered in washing up liquid in the dishwasher when I had it on for a rinse. Now it is full of bubbles and they are spilling out onto the floor when I open it up!!
