That's OK by me, plants not yet bought.

A radical idea, but what about strawberries? They won't need replacing annually ( but would give better fruit with some attention to runners, particularly after a few years, pretty white or sometimes pink flowers and glorious fruit. I have alpine strawberries in my white bed as ground cover, and atm the mor productive ones live in the middle of another flower bed, till i have made a soft fruit garden.0
