yeah....
my suit jacket lives on the back of my chair at work at this time of year, so i had to come in wearing my winter coat. coupled with having to run for the train, it was not pleasant!
i do have a second suit, but it is hanging in a cupboard at work...0 -

Opinions please.
Dh saw a little greene paint company paint called weekend which he likes and wanted to paint our bedroom in.
I think he likes it because it is ophis bedroom at the weekend. Sigh.
Haviong pulled the online chart up it looks nothing like the online colour on my screen so you may not be able to offer an opinion after all, accept doozer who probably knows all the paint charts!

On the wall in looks more like clockwise. A sort of nursery purple.
This f and b colour is also coming out greyer on my screen, my screen must not show purpley bluey grey colurs very truely!

This is just a shade paler and greyer. Purplish grey i think is a shade more livable.
But is it too cold for an east facing room.0 -
If it's a choice of two, stick a whole tester pot of each on the wall and see how it is morning and night. If F&B says the colour is warm, I'd trust them. I think I might have had a tester of Weekend in the old house but ended up with a much darker colour. Mambo is my favorite Little Greene colour, though I've never used it anywhere.
If either of them looks grey, don't use it. I had some lightish grey in the old house (it was a Dulux) and I ended up hating it. It was drab. Mid grey, dark grey or none grey.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Thank you doozer!
We have Testers of both.
I hate weekend, but its not just my room, so trying to be open minded. To me it looks like a nursery in a show home ...clean and pastelle, as opposed to the lovely pastel. Does that make sense to anyone but me?
Calluna is a little drab in the evening light, but still, to my taste a little too babyish in day light. The light will change in this room in the future, because atm is is north and east light, and we are either moving a wall to lose north light, or....my prefered option, going to have north east and west light in here and loose a wall entirely. But thats a little way down the line atm!
I had been steering him to light grey, but i take your advice serously, and perhaps the purple light in calluna is enough to soften the drab effect.
atm i have (shabby, a mouse nibbled one:o:() pink silk curtains, and if we go for the colour dh wants...whichbhe says is best described as rainy mist cloud, i will be accesorising in...shhhh, don't tell the taseful people, GOLD. So need something to temper it and set it against rather than vamp it up.
You are an amazing sounding board doozer, i am so grateful as always for your thoughts!0 -

Five to twelve is not after midnight. I was all ready for bed by then, using the laptop on my desk in my bedroom, and I logged off at 11:57 just in time to jump into bed on time. But it's good to know you were checking up on me! Thanks.
Yeah me too.

I haven't got it. Has anyone else? I hope he's OK too.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0
