Moving car insurance.
Old policy finishes at 23:59, new policy starts at 00:01
Seems a bit silly to me - but presumably you shouldn't leave the car on a public road or drive between 00:00:00 and 00:00:59?

Expect a penalty notice on your car window at 00:00:01.Said Aristippus, “If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.”

Shuuuuush! Don't tell - You might give people ideas of how to make money (the speeding fines arent making enough money apparently, and we have a massive national debt from Labour)0

I one had a 2 month gap between policies, didn't do me any harm!0

You can state a time.
I bought my car and was driving it home, got 10 miles down the road and realised i hadnt started the cover. I pulled over and gave them a ring and started it...my document says something like 16.25 cover started. Ring them up ask them if you can start it a minute earlier and see what they say..AND how much extra it will cost.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I asked for the policy to start on a specific day, and you don't have to be Einstein to work out that a day technically starts at 00:00 and NOT 00:010

I do hope you can learn a few more tricks with your command of maths because you'll need all the luck you can get to make your ticketing targets
This one will be mine at 23:59:01 (you snooze you lose)0 -

Good catch. Somehow the last line from the OP stuck in my mind. :PSaid Aristippus, “If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.”
