Depending which rate of DLA she receives she may well lose any enhanced disability premium she receives by having another adult living in the same household. Not sure whether this applies to the WPA in the same way it does to IS though so you'll need to check.

The severe disability premium is on HB, CTB, IS, JSA, ESA-I & PC. So if she receives any of those benefits it could be affected. Though if she is not getting DLA Middle or Higher rate Care or if someone is paid carers allowance for looking after her then she would not be affected. It might be benefifical if you claim CA with Income Support if your Mother recieves Middles or Higher rate care and you look after her for 35 or more hrs per week. You would also get the carers premium on Income Support.

She gets the highest rate care and mobility
If your Mother is claiming any rate DLA CARE then there will be no non-dependent deduction for Housing and Council Tax Benefit. For a full benefits check/what if calculation go to your local CAB.

As above she gets high rate for both, she doesnt get housing benefit as she owns her home

If your Mother is not entitled to Pension Credit (benefit for when she is at the age in which she would be entitled to State Pension) or Income support then on the face of it she may lose some council tax benefit, however, if her only income is WPA then it would be nominal figure if anything. Any loss and you could pay the difference. However, she may have been entitled to Income Support depending on what rate of WPA she was given? I think you should consider claiming Carers Allowance with Income Support.

As she receives Higher rate care then there will be no non-dependent deduction on council tax benefit and if you wish to pay any rent to her then that is up to you and her. As she is claiming Higher Rate care DLA you could claim Carers Allowance which can be backdated 3 months. You would also get the carer premium on income support. Even if you do not claim Carers Allowance you could claim Income Support as a carer just you would not get the carers premium.
