The only thing that I can see that will change will be your mothers' council tax benefit and as such you should at least pay her board to cover this.I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!0

As she get's DLA are you able to claim carers allowance, as you are looking after her?Hiddenidenity wrote: »She wants me to move in to help her with things she cant doI made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!0 -
Your mother will probably lose her 25% discount, so it would be only right to pay her this at least on top of your contributions to gas elec, water etc.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Here's the link to see if you are eligible for Carer's Allowance:

If your Mother is claiming any rate DLA CARE then there will be no non-dependent deduction for Housing and Council Tax Benefit. For a full benefits check/what if calculation go to your local CAB.0
