Eliza and I are settling in at home (we were released this afternoon - Eliza had to have 24 hours observation). Last night was horrific due to the other woman on my ward!!!! so I've had 4 hours sleep in total since Thursday morning! Although Eliza is as good as gold and sleeps and feeds very well
Eliza is all bathed and sleeping now... just waiting for her to wake up for dinner then we can all go to bed! But after being so poorly for the pregnancy I feel better and more energetic then I have in over 9 months!!!!
Just want to say thank you all for your lovely messages... below is a photo for you all I took yesterdayWe spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. Beautiful baby xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

That baby is edible. JulieG you must be so proud of her, and we are so proud of you. Oh! I suppose the OH deserves a mention for his part in all this. Better not leave out DS either.:j:j:j:jI believe that friends are quiet angels

Hi all! I'm sort of new to Old Style, however I do read it and get inspired :-) I was contemplating making my own laundry powder (not the gloop as I wouldn't have anywhere to store it) but as there is SO MUCH information on the indexed thread I was hoping for some tips. Borax is mentioned however is there something else widely available in the UK that I could use instead? Any recommendations for mixes? Thanks!
PS I have a chef hubby and small children so I need to make sure stains come out :j Currently doing the Swagbucks challenge :j0
