New puppy...

Well took the plunge & brought home my new puppie.
Pretty much as soon as we arrived home, I let her out to do her "business". Once she had been, I brought her back into the house & guided her into her doggie den.
It's been about 4 hours since she went to the toilet & she has been really sleepy. I did coax her into having a drink of water but she just went back to sleep.
The breeder had been feeding the pups up until 6pm, but it's nearly 7:30pm and she hasn't been out for food.
Should her wake her & take her outside for a wee, or will she be so tired due to the the journey & the trauma of coming to a new home?
I'm not worried, just asking advice.

My dog was very sleepy when we got him, they just need time to adjust. My friend has just got a lurcher puppy and was having trouble with her waking a lot at night. I bought her a hot water bottle with a fleecy cover, 99p shop, and she said it worked brilliantly, although you may not have any problems at night. Good luck and enjoy your puppy.0 -
I'd let her sleep, and offer her food if she does wake up.
She's had a tiring and stressful day so she might just not be hungry - just make sure she has access to food in the morning in case she is starving. With regards to the toilet - Just take her out just before you go to bed if she hasn't already asked before then.
All the best for your puppy - what is she?0 -
It is really unsettling for them to be moved so not unusual for a pup to not eat drink pee or poo in the same routine s/he was in at the breeders house. Does she have a name or is she still pup? Pics please! If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0

Thanks all.
She is a beautiful blue Bedlington Terrier named Ebbe. She's coming up 10 weeks old.
I have taken her out for a wee & maybe the other twice since I posted & I been trying to get her drink even a bit of water.
She does love to be outside & has been playing with one of her cuddly toys.
I will post a pic when I figure out how to post photos on here0 -

I will certainly make a good attempt to post piccies.
First night I took her upstairs in her doggy den. She was fine until I turned the light out. So, I slept with the light on & she was fine.
Has eaten 2 meals today so I'm happy about that. Going to leave her downstairs in her den tonight with a lovely warming heat pad my mum bought her from pets at home. Hopefully she will settle without any problems.
All she needs to do today is go for a number 20
