Can only the people who have done a slapper on GR see the competitor? This is going to be a breeze, my local European cheapie is a bit... sparse. No counters, no self service so no having to go back in looking like an idiot.

Yes sweetie. I just picked one up too (thank you misssarahleigh, I'm working your patch). I just phoned GR to make sure and she said if there is only 1 till, just do that. Easy money or what. Plus I don't have to buy any booze as no self scan. Wooo.0 -
Quick question if you don't mind to any of you who do this full-time (or as a main job) - what do you describe yourself as when getting car insurance? Because presumably you're declaring that you're using the car for business use?
hmmmmm.... retail consultant sounds impressive :rotfl:0 -

I was wondering about that recently. I'm insured for business use but still described myself as a househusband because that is my 'main occupation'. Not trying to lie to the insurance company, that is just the way I honestly see it.0 -
I was down as "independent means" last year (which sounds wonderfully posh but basically meant that I got a redundancy payment and wasn't eligible to sign on
) but also had business use. But now I'm working up to renewing so I'm looking through the lists.
"Consumer researcher" maybe? That sounds reasonable I think.0 -
Customer Service Assessor?
Or very simply, Market Researcher. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0
