does anyone do phone surveys for GR or is that inhouse ?
I only ask as i received a missed call from a number, did a google search and people saying its GR doing a survey for a bank
now i do bank with that particular company but this is a brand new p&g number that is not linked to that account and not given to anywhere else at all, but i used it when getting car insurance quotes from confused.com
just wasnt aware they did that sort of work too.0 -
Same, only ever did a couple of jobs for them maybe 2.5 years ago so I'm not that bothered. I stayed registered in case they got some good clients but that never happened!
having just read both of your posts i checked my emails expecting the same, sure enough i had a tns email. not did anything for them for 18 months+, but it was offering me a good fee audio recording job with a small report.... random
considering taking it too, unless the visit is a nightmare0 -
Blimey, not only is there a job on BARE in my area that I'm eligible for, they accepted me too! I look forward to being paid for it around Christmas time, from what I've read here :rotfl:0

Have been allocated a ORIENTAL visits by the company that cannot be named. It says I need to wear a fleece, !!!!!!? I got accepted today and have to do it tomorrow. Looks like a right farce, the amount of work for the fee mentioned. Has anyone else done one? If so, pm me or help on here. Also, are we allowed to drop out if the fee is too small for the work they expect or is that just rude once you have been allocated something? Many thanks.0

For those having problems with images for RE, this always works for me.
1/ Upload a jpeg of a word document saying "Image unavailable".
2/ Add a comment along the lines of, "There were xxx staff looking out of the window and it was not possible to take a photo without compromising my anonymity as a mystery shopper."0 -

I visited two branches twice last week as a part of this project - I commited only to the two, after which I emailed the woman at the company and explained that I'd be unable to continue as I wasn't receiving the briefs on time - on one occasion, I'd spent half an hour setting up the wrong planogram in a store because they'd sent the update after I'd gone out. I then spent another half an hour correcting it on my subsequent visit *sigh*. I was especially annoyed because people on here seemed to be receiving the information the afternoon/evening before, like I needed - I had mentioned in conversation upon accepting the two dates that I have a 'proper' job to go to in the afternoon.
Don't worry about the fleece, I didn't have one either, probably as I'd only initially agreed to two dates. I suppose they will send one out to you if you commit to the project for the whole year. I agree it's a lot of mucking about, especially when you get home and have to rename the photos before you submit them, although I've decided that I personally don't have the patience for merchandising and others may completely disagree with me there
Apologies if this has already been answered, but did I hear that payments are now being automatically made by this company, or do I still have to submit an invoice? If the latter is the case, should I request one or are they supposed to send me one to complete? I previously did a few jobs on one project for them and waited six weeks, then decided they weren't sending me one and emailed the woman to request one. I waited because before that, I'd accepted a job and had to cancel, but the man on that project sent me an invoice a few weeks later.0 -
Payment is automatic now. I got my "payslips" last week and money went into my account yesterday (and I needed it!).0
