The secret eating company - I know we're meant to always put a comment if scoring negatively, but do they always want a comment anyway if scoring positively. I don't want to lose points as this job will take me up to Silver (woohoo :D) but at the same time, don't want to stick in lots of pointless comments that really just repeat the question back (a la Retail Eyes!!).

I tend to comment in about 60-70% of boxes and they usually say the reports are excellent and detailed- better that than a load of queries that lose you points. EG "Did the waitress off more drinks?" I usually say that she offered drinks within a few minutes of finishing the wine or whatever etc
  • I'm currently on my second job in two days RE are trying to not pay me for.

This time it's a wrong angled photo of the sandwhich. Good job I took two photo's isn't it :D

Lets see if the second is acceptable. Next time I do this job, i'm going to take 20 photo's of the dam thing from every angle.

Whats best is, if you get a proper side view, it would be rejected because the reciept wasn't clear enough.

ohhhh, they are getting on my nerves this week.
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

I stopped doing the sandwich jobs once they introduced the 'make sure we can see your fillings' element, as I thought it would be so easy for them to claim some silly reason that it's not acceptable and then not pay you, when you just know they'll still send the rest of your work to the client anyway! And for the length of the report and poor fee, I'm better off buying my own damn sandwich! :D
  • Hi guys. Two quick points:
    1) Who is this company that cannot be named? Could anyone drop a few hints so i could check I am registered with them?
    2) Helion has showed nothing for me since early Dec. Is this normal? I ried calling their office, but a recorded message says they are on a national holiday.

    Cheers.

One of the few projects I never had an issue with but with the fee and time the report takes I've binned them. Took a dislike to the company once I discovered they used turkey ham and turkey bacon without advertising it as such. If I want pig in a sandwich then I damn well better get pig in my sandwich and not some bird!
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

Hi they are not Nam ed for a reason. They don't want to be and people. Working for them don't want lots of others signing up in their area. If you don't have much experience in the field I'd give them a miss for now and stick to try those listed on page 1 for a while. Read through this and the past months previous thread, there have been hints and even a mentioned. There are too many lurkers and not enough jobs for every one so even if you do sign up, you may not be offered anything as they have their preferred people, thankfully.

    Really?!?!
Did not know that, not had one for over a year but def like to know what I'm eating. Is that all stores or just some halal oriented ones? I remember a pizza shop with a small sign that their spicy beef was in fact Lamb!
  • Fair do's. It just seems odd that any MS firm could have too many shoppers on its books and why turn down a bit of free exposure? Totally understand shoppers not wanting to name them to other shoppers, although, it slightly defies the existence of this thread, I'd have thought?

I've been MSing for about two years, and was keen to increase my chances (earnings). I'll go back over the thread when I have time.

    Thanks.
