Just stick it in it's own bank account and forget about it until Nov. It's never a good idea to let invoicing slip, no company is that safe atm.

Agreed - personally I wouldn't leave money in there for any time at all. I'm only waiting at the moment for the last couple of surveys to get approved from one project, and will cash them all out together at the end of this month.

It's easy enough to get another current account or a cash ISA (tax free) to keep a little pot of savings in. Plus you'll get about £5 interest.... WOW. (not)
  • When those of you who went to the GfK phone shop and it was busy, did they still pay you the full fee? They are trying to give me £4 less as the assignment could not be done, ergo no data was entered. Seems rather unfair as I was hanging around for nearly an hour, and I did what they said, it's hardly my fault it was too busy :(

    Hi all,

We're back! (and hopefully posting in the right forum now ;-) )
Apparently Helion was banned from the old forum, due to the fact that the forum does not allow companies to be represented.

Its a shame because here at Helion we felt that we could answer many questions from the forum participants. So if you want us to be back on, please let MSE know ;)

    Hello, welcome back!

I have a question - are there going to be any uploads to Helion this month? There hasn't been anything on there for a while now :(

I'm going to send an email to MSE regarding this. There are plently of Company reps on the consumer rights board.
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

I wonder if Helion are being booted off because there are special rules regarding companies posting? I've had a quick look at the Forum Rules section and it seems that it's fairly tightly controlled by MSE and the company has to make an application to them.

    Also the policy is:
Which type of companies are allowed?

We strictly limit it to household name companies which have huge numbers of customers and companies that have been mentioned in the MSE guides or non-profit advice agencies we have a relationship with.

So I think they'll probably fail on the 'size' element. Unfortunately emailing MSE might just point them out again and result in them being banned.

I imagine the number of times they've been booted off indicates they are already on MSE's radar. It's a shame as their posts have been helpful but it's not our forum or rules unfortunately.

This is true, if helion want to keep posting then they need to go down the official route and contact MSE. As they have been booted off a few times now I suspect it will only be a matter of time before it happens again. I also can't see what good it will do us contacting MSE it's up to the company to do that.
