Is it one of the charity trips that advocate fund raising to pay for it? You could suggest a 10k run or similar for her to try to raise money or doing local odd jobs with people donating to her trip.

Its not a charity thing, although they will be working in chrities when they are over there, its part of her college course, kind of a placement.

JulieG: I do hope you realise that there are dozens of us out here in cyberspace suffering every pang and pain with you. There, doesn't that make you feel bitter, I mean better?
We all ought to go and get some rest while we can. You too of course JulieG. We wouldn't want you to feel left out or anything.

I begin to realise that adoption has a lot going for it. I went to London with an empty carry-cot and came back with a full one. Job done!

JG Oooh :T I hope it won't be too long now.
Fridays child is loving and giving :D

Jools my babies are exactly the same age as yours :p

I woke up this morning and my fingers were so swollen I had to take my wedding ring off because it was cutting in :( The swelling is gone now but I am left with pins and needles in the fingers of both hands,I can't wait to get to see the Dr tomorrow :(.

DH came home and got straight in the bath because he stunk - the sewer at the school is blocked and he decided to lift the manhole cover pheeeww.
Dial a rod are out at 7.30 am tomorrow otherwise they would have to close the school.

Well I am off for a shower and get in my jammies, I want to try and get an early night tonight. DD has gone to a party tonight so I hope she has remembered her key.
