:hello: Morning all. Woke up with a stinker of a headache again after a restless night - very weird dreams! The day started out chucking it down with rain, but its very windy so the rainclouds are starting to disappear. Want to try and have a little walk later, been so busy flying over the past few days, I've only just realised I've not left the house since Tuesday
Ive just had a text message from Approved Foods, saying my first delivery sill be here between 2 and 3 today :j Not used them before so I'm very excited.
Just waiting to hear from DD (all grown up now but lives just round the corner from me). She has a kidney infection :( She saw the Dr yesterday but they couldnt identify which bacteria is causing it, so could only prescribe a broad-spectrum antibiotic, which doesnt usually work for her, and have to wait for cultures to come back from the Hospital :(. Im waiting for her to let me now if she's gone into work - I dont think she should, as she is in a lot of pain and had absolutely no sleep the previous night because of this, but she hates missing work due to illness  Anyway, if she's gone in, I'm going to pop round to her house and do her cleaning for her - thought it would be nice for her to come home and find it all done. I know I'd appreciate it :D
Keep safe and warm everyone, and have a lovely day.
Don't put it DOWN, put it AWAY! ;)
You can't expect to Fly if you're still wearing your pyjamas! :j:j:j

    Morning all!
Had to come home from work on Saturday after a visit to emergency GP, I have a chest infection and have spent days coughing and sleeping, in no particular order! Still very sore around the ribcage, but the antibiotics are starting to work I think!
Had a pleasant surprise on the money front yesterday, found more money in the bank than I though we had, so have in true Jools style spent it on a holiday in May for me and OH! Just need to find the spending money now!
DS came home from college at lunchtime yesterday, clutching his ribs and in agony, doc thinks he may have cracked a rib, but no sign of him having fallen, been fighting or other naughtiness, so must have been whilst coughing ( he's asthmatic and has had a terrible cough for weeks), so his room is now like mine with painkillers, extra inhalers etc.......god bless the NHS! He would cost us a fortune if we had to pay for his prescriptions.
Today I will change beds, and try some ironing, am sure the steam will help the chest and nobody seems to have any ironed clothes, the ironing fairy doesn't come when I'm not well!
    Have a good day all!
    RIP Iain

Morning all - Boys at school, washing all folded, WM on again, done the bin bag shuffle and been to the chiropractor. Temp dropped from 11 to 8 degrees in my 10 minute journey home! Still have Daisy dog in lampshade and baby socks following her spaying operation last Thursday. Silly dog has also gone into heat as well - apparently quite normal according to vet! So Domino dog (neutered Male) is going mad! OH home tomorrow for weekend and we're going looking at houses on Sunday. Tea tonight is meatloaf with carrots, broccoli and spuds. Before then I would like to get a bit of paint on DS1s walls. Need to get Christmas decs in the loft and sort out the furniture in the house this weekend.

Best of luck today JG - fingers crossed for you. xx Hugs to everyone else.
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.

The total cost was £1400.00  but we have paid £100 deposit, she is off to Kenya next year with college, working in an orphanage and elderly people's home, and with people with learning difficulties, it will be such an experience for her, so I am determined she will go, its just finding the cash now !! x

i bet thats something she will never forget , do you have to pay for her injections , that could add more to the bill

just back from the dentist , a small filling no anaesthetic thankfully as DH is taking me for a 2 for a fiver meal :D
