Opinion?
F'ugly. Like a 2002 Nissan Primera only more so.
Not comfortable, from my limited experience of two days driving one.
Good diesel engine, although if anything like the 150BHP Vectra not especially reliable due to DMF/DPF problems that are worse than the Mondeo.
Typical Vauxhall really. Competent but depressingly dull. Ford seem to have plasticky down to a fine art -- with Vauxhall it's just general numbness. The one I drove managed to be crashy over bumps *and* wallowy around corners -- I didn't think that was possible to be honest, and I've owned some crap in the past.
Not fussed. Will probably prove adequately reliable over a long period of time like Vauxhalls usually are, even if they do drop to bits as they get older.
And this is coming from someone that drives a MK2 Focus estate and a Mitsubishi Space Star. DamnThis thread has me so pumped, I headbutted my dog and we both screamed.0 -
It's like top gear on here at times.0

As said at times, by many of us, about many of us.0

First year depreciation on a new car is shocking. You save a fortune buying a one year old car, but I found it nerve-wracking as I thought it might be a lemon - who in their right mind would trade in after a year? :rotfl:
.
People don't trade them in after 12 months - hire car companies do - usually when they get to about 10K as first service is due.
List price in this market segment is laughable as nobody will pay it in the real world. Most go to fleets and are bought at huge discounts of 20 - 30%0 -
Focuses handle better and Mitsubishis don't fall to bits. Your point?
Point being that no 2 of us are ever going to agree about preferences on here:rotfl::rotfl:, bec ause that's just what they are.
Another example, we bought a laptop after new year, sent back yesterday as failed.
Started reading reviews as we had to change model,
pro's;
great battery life,
build quality
features
speed of response
etc
cons;
poor battery life,
build quality
features
speed of response
etc
get my drift?,I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
Well I've had the car just over a fortnight I love it so far just a few slight problems, it was scratched when I bought it but the garage said that they would sort it so took it back the following Friday for the scratches to be sorted, it came back even worse, they used totally the wrong colour paint and hadn't done half of the scratches. So I kicked up again it went back in on Friday after a hour I got a call saying that they aren't happy so want to send it to a proper body shop but I'll be without the car till Tuesday (tomorrow) as it would be having a full respray, so that's where I'm up to so far hopefully it's prestien when it's back tomorrow.
Other than that the mpg is 10mpg better than the jeep was

Hope they are a top notch paint shop,
Should have got them fixed before accepting the car if they were bad enough to need doing .0
