I'm not too keen on boats either - don't mind the really big ones but hate wee ones - people who know me were gob-smacked when the heard we had booked Venice for last years holiday0

Hiya fin  hope you and luvvly jubbly get to go to Amsterdam
we used to go see my sis in Germany and once we went on a Sally liner cruise which was a rough crossing. Mam was glued to the floor petrified. Other than that we have had good crossings and on some we could take the car across. Have you tried somewhere like the airport parking (aph I think it's called) they have secure parking if it's not too far. Although I'm sure there will be a secure car park near ferry crossing too.
Hope you enjoy your trip to Amsterdam bishopsgirl
Melvis hope rude boy is feeling better bless him! I hate it when you see the dogs running about with the cones bashing into things!
It's so cold in here today even with the heating on. Still not got round to doing ironing yet, must make a move!Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -

It was gorgeous bishopsgirl but the most expensive place I have ever been in my life & we are used to citys as they tend to be our holidays of choice - everything was twice the price of other places we have went & it did take the shine off it a bit for us - went for a meal in a resturant they were all raving about on trip adviser & it cost us 289 euros:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:0

Glad you had a good day Katie. Love hearing about your day.
Melvis well done one your advent WEM, Sunday WEM's are rare. I once had one at 23.55 on a Saturday night, thought it could not be genuine at 1st but it was.
Thanks for the info on Venice Fin. I had heard it was expensive, Florence too. Would love to visit both so better get winning. We tend to do city breaks too Fin. Stick to Europe and often the UK usually do 3- 5 days.
Put your feet uo Becks you deserve a rest.
Good luck at the Bingo wingo.Be Lucky Everyone0 -
