Feeling much brighter now my migraine as gone I felt sorry for the girls as I told them we would have a girls shopping day after opticians but I had to come straight home. Will try again next weekend!

That's a good idea fire**fly with the egg timer! You can sometimes get carried away comping and before you know it the hours have passed!

Sheils, I bet your dd can't wait for her ball. We do proms here too in their final year of school which I'm dreading as I know it cost a fortune! I better start saving now!

SueMaggie, not sur if it was the times or not but I entered a text comp from a papers magazine yesterday for an iPad while in the opticians. It was a £2 text mind but.....I just couldn't resist! dd was laughing at me and said she can't take me nowhere!

Hope you managed some sleep Becks, you'll have to nick the duvet back off him tonight see how he likes it!

We are photo mad in this house so will be! Haven't figured out how to get the size right tho - they are either too big or too small when I try to post them.:o


We have a Candlemas Ball every year Wingo and the boys hire kilts etc so it is very expensive. DS isn't bothered this year as a lot of his pals aren't going.

Hi all

Rude Boy's fine after his op, grumpy about wearing a big cone on his head but physically/healthily fine so that's good enough

Whilst he was in the vets on Friday I had a comping marathon and managed to get from where I'd left off at comps posted 6/1 right up to comps posted 23/1 :T but then I had work all day yesterday but just 50 or so pages left to do today/this week to bring me right back up to date for the first time since November :rotfl::rotfl:

I had quite a good start to January/2012 but it seems to have dried up a bit now, hoping the comping fairy hasn't abandoned me for too long :eek::eek:

Sheils, if you have 'Paint' on your PC I usually open my pics in them and resize to 33%, that seems to be about right, you can go bigger/smaller if needed.

Those cones are a pain Melvis, literally! Watch your shins! I can remember taking one of mine up the field wearing one and they had cut the grass, he put his head down to sniff as he walked and it was like a snow plough picking it all up. Also, don't let him look up if it's raining

Kind of glad there's no hourly today, it does take over your life. Going to make a carrot cake once OH has gone off to archery (and I'm dressed). I just want to find a nice cake recipe that we both enjoy which isn't too costly or fiddely.

Where would I find "paint" Sue? I'm completely self taught on laptop so only know basic things really ( Will ask DD too when she gets up)

Start --> All Programs --> Accessories --> Paint xx

On mine, if you click on the button (bottom left) where you would click to shut down, you should see 'All Programmes' and on that list there is 'Accessories'. It's in that folder.
