Well if you can find the comp we may be able to shed some more light on it. There is always T&C to a comp somewhere on the page. I would say your first entry should still stand as *normally* they would discard the duplicates.

There is also a tunbridge wells so digital same comp

Closing date for entries is March 30 2012.

    Terms and Conditions
The winner will be selected at random from new subscribers to the online edition of So Brighton & Hove magazine. The prize is as stated, a TV model number LG 50PT353, and cannot be substituted. No cash prize alternative will be offered. The prize includes delivery of the TV to the home of the winner, providing it is within the general catchment area of So Brighton & Hove magazine. Winners may be asked to take part in publicity photos relating to the competition. All standard competition terms and conditions of One Media apply. In the unlikely event that the model LG50PT353 is not available RGB reserves the right to offer a model of similar size and value.

If you do not wish to be contacted in the future by One Media or any other affiliated brand, please send an email stating this to info@onemediauk.co.uk making the subject ‘TV Comp.’

For more information about our competition partners visit their website at https://www.rgbdirect.co.uk

They cover themselves with the bit that says standard competition T&C of OneMedia apply. I would say these say it is one per household. I would say they are well within their rights but perhaps a polite email back saying you are sorry and would it be possible for them to make it clearer in future comps. Its never normally a big issue to me as I tend to only enter me. Occasionally OH does enter.

I had a Green Lantern tshirt delivered today. No compliments slip or return address. Really annoying when companies don't put a slip in. It isn't difficult and surely they want people to talk about them

Hi, just wondered if anyone saw the article in The Sun on Sunday about three compers, towards the back of the paper wonder if any of them are on here? Showed my OH to prove there are other people spending time comping not just me!!! :rotfl:
Best wins: Brit Awards & After Show Party Tickets 2012; Samsung Galaxy Note; 32" widescreen TV; £500 National Garden Vouchers; Kindle Fire HD; £100 high-street gift card; Kindle; Diamond Necklace; BAFTA TV Awards Tickets 2015;
  • Some nasty people posting on there, weren't there, especially a load of newbies! I thnk I just live in a comping bubble where I think everyone tries hard, and is really lucky if they win!

I agree minty think there's a lot of bitter people out there. Was only thinking earlier on about comping being fun but how lately there seems to be an influx of bitterness. Ah well as long asI am still enjoying what I do and my wins thats all that matters to me. In every walk of life there will be people who don't do things the same way we think as "correct" or "proper"

There are, and even i got carried away with it all over the weekend.
Ive since made amends to all involved, and apologised (many thanks to those few who accepted it) Ive got my naughty comments deleted, so fresh new start and now time to just have fun.
But youre right about 'newbies' some who only joined this week think they 'know' everything and even have the cheek to pm me.
It certainly opened my eyes, jason on loquax said oh oh watch out for the influx of new 'pro' compers lol.

Ive today had my first win (not posted on here-was a link from treacle)
And its only a picture for my mum but thats great.
I hope everyone has a fantastic week, even the 'noobie pro compers' lol.

Congrats Vanpopple - glad you've had a win from one of the links I gave you :-)
Not really comping any more as too ill - but hoping to win £1000+ in 2017 in cash prizes - watch this space!

Just slightly hypocritical, vanpopple of February? Especially if the "newbies" never claimed to be pro. In my case, I was actually a member of this forum (didn't post a lot) a long, long time ago. I apologise for a new account, but it's not intentional. I used a username and e-mail that I can't even remember, and with a forum of this capacity it isn't fun to go digging if you have no clue.

The fact somebody is new does not mean they are not wise. It's true that newbies generally cause more problems than regulars. That goes without saying. I've been using forums for over ten years and I own one myself. It's also true that a lot of people in online communities are judged by post count and registration date. It's not fair if they've done nothing wrong. Anyway, it's good to see you've decided to change your ways.
