Lloyds TSB have 8 weeks to respond to your complaint but there is nothing to stop you getting the FOS involved in your complaint from the start.
I know I sound like a cracked record but getting the FOS on your side really works and it costs your creditors money.
1. complain to your bank, insurance company or finance firm
It's important that you complain first to the business you're unhappy with – and give them a chance to look into your problem. They have eight weeks to do this. We can help by contacting the business for you, and telling them about your complaint.- phone our consumer helpline on
0300 123 9 123 or 0800 023 4567
Monday to Friday – 8am to 8pm
Saturday – 9am to 1pm
we'll be happy to phone you back
I haven't reported them yet, I was going to send them one more letter then start the ball rolling with the FOS?
My balance is going to end up exceeding the original loan amount if they keep adding the amount of interest that they are and they've only agreed to reduced payments for 6 months anyway.0 - phone our consumer helpline on

Thank you TTFTM. I applied for seven jobs in total so I am hoping to hear about the others next week now. Basically everyone's contract has finished so everyone is having to apply for their jobs again, although the restructuring that has gone on has resulted in some completely new positions. The difference in my case is that they have decided to close where I work but I am allowed to apply for the new jobs in other areas along with everyone else. My concern is that the people who already work in those areas will have the advantage of local knowledge but there's not a lot I can do about that.
We would really struggle on just OH's wage and there wouldn't be much left over to go towards our debts. I would hate having our DFD pushed back to infinity and beyond so I better really shine at these interviews!
Best of luck with the interviews, I hope that things work out for you,Debts as of June 2012 - £68,986.35Now £27,470.20 :T57% of debts cleared:beer:0 -

My advice would be don't wait and don't waste your time and money writing letters for Lloyds TSB to ignore or send nonsense back in response.
The FOS will follow up on your complaint and reinforce it. They still have to give Lloyds TSB the full 8 weeks to respond but will then be ready to move, if you haven't got the answer you want from Lloyds in that timescale.
In my experience, Lloyds TSB play hard with their customers but roll over quickly for the FOS.LBM 10/1/12 ~ DFW Start 6/2/12: £82,344 ~ Now Zero:staradmin:starmod::staradmin Debt free 17th April 2015 :staradmin:starmod::staradmin

I think it's as simple as the DMP gets reduced by £145. I know that will mean longer takent o pay the debt back but also more likely for creditors to stop interest too.
I hope it works out for you

I spoke to the HMRC and have made an offer of £40, however when speaking to SC they suggested that they would probably only accept a payment of £72 or more, but they did say it might be worth doing a review a bit earlier than normal and putting the resukts of the offer to HMRC into the mix. The lady I did speak to said it may be that we have to reduce payments to other creditors for the time being while this is paid off.
I am nervous of the reaction though as all but HSBC have accepted the payments so far. SC did say though its best to look at the life of the DMP as a whole rather than perhaps 12 - 18 months where the payments would drop. I guess it does make sense though but will push our DFD backwards, but you never know what is going to happen in the next 8 - 10 years.
I will have to wait an see what happens at the HMRC but our situation has changed a little over the last 6 months - my OH has lost her job  while I got a pay rise, but we cut back and carried on paying the same amount to SC. We have saved money by reducing our water bill and also our gas / electricity but this was helping us out, now HMRC have wrecked that.
Still I guess with what we are paying with other back taxes and PAYE we might stop the UK going into a triple dip recession - I might even get knighted for my services:j:j:jDebts as of June 2012 - £68,986.35Now £27,470.20 :T57% of debts cleared:beer:0 -

They are a reasonable distance. My current job is only a few miles away which is brilliant. The new jobs would be a half hour drive which compared to what a lot of people have to do isn't bad either. It would up my fuel costs a bit but some of the jobs I have applied for pay a bit more than I am on now, some are the same money so I will have to wait and see what they offer me.
Thanks for all your support everyone.DMP Mutual Support Thread No. 421

Ignore my question above, managed to sneak out of work for a quick phone call to them and they have said it can be moved to the 8th so have done that for the month of Feb then it will automatically revert back to the 1st March - phew! xx
It used to be that you could pay CCCS any month on the date 1 or 10 of the month this may have changed since Step change.0 -
We haven't received any mail for a week due to the snow. Just got a big bunch of letters and the Halifax have said that we had payments going out of our bank accounts which put us over the limit and they are charging us £65 for each account!! These bank accounts are part of our DMP and are not used at all. I'm sure it can be sorted but Halifax are such a pain. I think we have finally got them to reduce charges on the credit card, we have sent them statements and they say they haven't received them, and they want them every six months. Why do creditors do this? It is so frustrating.:mad:DMP Mutual Support Thread No. 421
