I got my MBNA letter today as well..............feel like I've joined a new club !!!!!!
I've just tried to go on the Moorgate Loan Servicing website, it tells you to enter the first 4 digits of your account number to enter the site, I clicked on continue but it doesn't appear to work.
Have a great weekend all0 -
I had 50k worth of debt 8years ago. I took loans to consolidate and now down to 13k. I was 23 when I was in a mess.0

Me too! Are they getting fed up with us??!! Also had letter from Financial Ombudsman. They are going to tell MBNA to pay me £11 in charges back! Won't even make a dent, but feel better knowing the whole process has cost MBNA much more!DFW Long Hauler 292 / Sealed Pot Challenge Member #1452

It seems that the DMP has worked for a lot of people. I hope it works for me, I am questioning if I should cancel my Direct Debits that are due tomorrow and just write to the companies making a token payment. But not sure where my cheque book is.0

Don't use cheques, use postal orders instead0 -
Well my first payment goes out on Feb 1.
Written to all creditors weeks ago advising situation and with token payments.
MBNA have been good and stopped interest. Natwest have said they have no record of account (!) and Barclaycard have written back saying my interest is going UP from 19.9% to 24.9% in March even though the account is stopped!!!!0 -

Well done on getting started, another step done. I'd write to Natwest and say does that mean I do not owe you anything?!!!! Barclay card - write and complain to them in the first instance.
Good luck

Feeling down about my DMP with CCCS today, I feel like I'm going backwards. I started mine in Aug 2011 and things went really smoothly but then in Nov my car broke down and I had a HUGE repair bill so I had to reduce my payment for that month as I hadn't been on my DMP long enough to build up any kind of emergency reserve. CCCS were really good about it and I informed all my creditors in writing (not one of them acknowledged my letter though!!).
I have reverted to paying the full amount in Dec & Jan, but now I am getting hassled again by some of my creditors saying I am in arrears. I appreciate that I didn't stick to my end of the agreement in November but I really had no choice and there is no way I can pay the all the arrears.
I am feeling so low about my debts today - I haven't felt like this since before I started on my DMP. I went on the CCCS website today and even the fact that I have already paid off £2532 since Aug 11 hasn't cheered me up all I can see it the balance remaining. My DFD seems so long away (I know its only 3 years) but it seems such a struggle.
My income & budget have changed since I set up my DMP and I now have less income but I have tried to make savings elsewhere instead of reducing my DMP payment.
ARRRGHHHHH!!! anyway it's lovely weather today so I think a nice long walk with the kids is in order, at least its free and I might start to feel better, and if not at least I will sleep tonight!

Hi Lucee
I have no words of wisdom to offer, I am just starting out with my DMP and it's a scary place to be, but not as scary as the debt problem not being addressed.
I just wanted to let you know I have read your post and you are not alone.
Hugs. x0
