They're in house DCA for payday uk :o I will contact them asking for them to put that (in blue) in writing, if partially satisfied means it's closed I don't mind as I will be on a DMP for at least 6 years so it will drop off my credit file by the time I'm finished. That's the only difference isn't it.

What do they mean by the DMP comment - do you think they will reject the F&F if I say I'm still with CCCS?

    EDIT:

I've written this and hope it works by just ignoring the DMP comment :

I am happy to have my account marked as 'Partially satisfied'. However I would need in writing that "This payment is made as a final payment in settlement of the account and neither Keyes Whitlock & Company nor any associate company will take any other action to enforce or pursue this debt in any way whatsoever and that I will be released from any liability and the account closed. And that you will make an entry on a credit reference agency file relating to the account as having been paid (or partially satisfied) and the account closed. "

If this is agreeable to yourselves please can you confirm this in writing along with the details of who I make the cheque payable to.

As you rightly say the marker will drop off after 6yrs and yes ignore the DMP question. Also give them a timescale in which you expect a response I would say 14 days.
I the event that you get the required wording I would reinforce it when you send the cheque stating that the cheque is only to be cashed on the strict understanding of the terms.(Write them out again)

Write in full and final rather than final.
  • I've been looking for your thread but can't find it :(

Mr BR's pay actually goes in at midnight on the 23rd, so it should be in the bank for the 24th?...*hopes so*

I've bumped it up as haven't had an answer yet.

It's to do with the way they order the statements meaning try take everything out before anything shows as going in on a particular day. All seems very odd to me!

    Hi everyone,

Just logged on to NatWest banking online.

They are my creditor for CC, OD and Loan. My first DMP payment goes out on Feb 1 and I have sent letters explaining situation etc to all creditors.

Just saw my online account and CC is not showing. All other accounts (OD and Loan) are showing ok. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced similar?

I don't have paper statements switched on, so how will I know balance?

    Any advice appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Typhoo

    ohhh, I see - hmmm...
We haven't had a statement yet (I'm assuming it's a paper one?) so I have no idea what they look like..
Might need to have a chat with the bank perhaps.

Blushing rose i was quite impressed with the way co ops statements are laid out so u may be pleasently surprised!! i dont know if this help but my husband and i are paid weekly both wages show up on a friday on online as credited as they are supposed to but debit card transactions and direct debits can be slow to show but will be deducted rom balance if that makes any sense.:D

Quick question regarding cccs it wont let me log in to view my booklets!! when sending proof of income how many weeks wageslips do they require!! also statements from creditors some we havent recieved will it be ok to send account numbers etc??

also wondering wether its worth investing in a printer (i dont own one) to copy everything we need, also would help with printing from internet banking!! and copying cccs letters to send off!! saw a fab all in one for 29 reduced from 60, but if it doesnt come with ink could be double eeeek!!

Have been reading up on the virtues of homebrew wine aswell!! gonna need some form of drinkies to get us through!!:D:eek: but i think thats gonna have to wait for another day unessacary spending and all that lol!!

    Hey pumpkinsoup,

You'll need to send a payslip from the last 3 months. Preferably a couple or three, but not neccessary. Send copies. You could also send your bank statements instead and just highlight your income.

Account numbers for creditors won't do. You need to send statements. If you haven't received some, see what you can print online.

A printer is useful as you should keep copies of all your letters and statements. Filing things for your DMP is very useful!

    Best of luck!

    Hi

Agree re Coop and especially that they are slow to show transactions. Even more reasons why we all need to keep meticiulous records so we don't get caught out.

Hope you enjoy the curry. My slow cooker and freezer have been a godsend on the DMP.

You may be able to pick up a printer on freecycle. That said it's the cost of the print that often the bug!

Good luck with the homebrew, don't forget the paracetamol on your budget. :)

  • Hmmm, I've just had a letter from First Direct with a default notice for my loan. No acknowledgement at all of my DMP letter. I also have an overdrawn account with them and they have put the £10 token payment into this account despite the fact my letter specifically said that it was a token payment towards my loan

    What now?

    What now?

When we started our DMP with the CCCS we did not pay any token payments but started DMP within a month. I think as long as they have been informed that the DMP is being set up it makes no difference (in my opinion)
