Question for cashminder account holders??

My question is about how they rejig the statement. They show all payments out before recording income coming in. Which makes managing my iPhone forecast ap odd but hey ho!
However this week I may face an issue. Our big secured loan is going out on Thursday which will reduce our balance to about £20. Mr Wannabe gets paid on Friday but will I need to not touch the account for my food shopping until the Saturday to prevent us going technically overdrawn??? If so that's a bit cac - as he'll have been paid but we can't draw on it
. And as this is likely to happen around the 19th of every month I may have to look into other accounts.
The joy and technicality of weekly pay days!
Thank you

If you get paid on the Friday, then you should be able to buy on the Fri. When I get paid I usually go on a spending spree, and I know that with Co-op online banking, the debits can show up as leaving the account before the wage comes in.DMP mutual support thread No: 2430

It's a nitemare isnt it. You have to keep track of DD's and debit card transactions yourself. Its all very slow to update. They've only started doing faster payments! Get with the times co-op, eh

Hi
I have a smile current account which works on the same principle, I think.
I usually get paid on a Saturday (odd, but hey) and I can draw spend and see this money on Saturday, however, come Monday it will show as having credited on Monday!
They have never treated this as an unauthorised overdraft though - I thin it's just a glitch in how credits show on their system.0 -
Just to add OH gets paid on a Monday, and this doesn't show / isn't available until Monday0

you should be fine, me and my husband are weekly paid and our wages always go in on a friday and show up as credit straight away!! direct debits and money spent on debit card can take a while to show on statement!! but the balance always shows reduced!! annoying i know0
