Is west yorkshire out and any idea on scores needed . Looks like i have been rejected on 35 from north east , they apparently send me 3 emails saying that , very keen to reject me ! Just wondering if i have any chance with west yorkshire ? Not to bad as got another job

I got the job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm too excited to be at work, all I can think is that I can finally leave this place. I want to hand in my notice but I know that's not a good idea and I just need to stay calm and patient.

Now I just need to keep my fingers crossed that I get placed in one of the Cardiff offices.

Congratulations!!!! I got reserve list (which was the most I could hope for with 32), so I continue to live in hope!!

I received my email from West Yorks at 3:15pm yesterday, provisional offer with score of 45.
I know Panno has received a provisional offer too but not sure what time her email came through, If I remember correctly her score was 41.
Emails could still be going out, so I wouldn't assume you have been unsuccessful until you receive an email.
When do you start the other job?

Reserve list for me - happy with that for now. Just delighted I didn't get a rejection.

I got the job too. I've had offers for SE Wales and SW Wales so one lucky reserve lister will be getting the one I don't want

Profit and bonuses are important as it motivates the staff. Recrutiment companies get a bad reputation but its your own fault you got 40/45 as it wasn't good enough. To Bill. thanks for the lectures and telling people how wonderful you are. Sorry you weren't good enough for the job because I was better than you. Just think all the people you advised on how to write competencies failed in the interview stage. Competition was fierce but your not wanted or needed and your contribution damaged others.

Its quite funny though isn't it Bill that you didn't get the job since you acted like you were the expert. You did this wonderful interview telling everyone how wonderful you were and how well prepared you were. Yet it wasn't good enough!!!

I PM'd you asking for advice when you'd posted that you'd PMd bottletop with ideas of how to get back into employment. Have you replied? Even an acknowledgement? No - you've been too busy insulting posters, such as MackemBill, who have been genuinely helpful and supportive through the whole of this thread.

Don't bother PMing me now. You sound like a real pompous, big-headed ****. I can't see anyone who's so smug about having a job earning 'easy money' being the slightest bit of help to anyone who's struggling to find a job, for whatever reason.

I really hope I don't come up against you when I go to the jobcentre to sign on.

Pluto - I understand where you're coming from but try not to be bitter. My advisor thought that I'd be perfect for the job but I guess I just don't have whatever it takes to get through a competency interview.

Thanks for info and wow what a great score u got pat on back. My new job starts mid june so got time to spend with my daughter before i start and get both my head togrther and start training . Must get fit as starting a Envo officer and dont want the first scrap yard dog to get a pice of me !! Beeing on a waiting list not a bad thing for mme as could meen if i do not like new job then could have a chance of a move . Like being outside so Evo Officer up my street
