    Hey guys,
seems bottletop11 is in a bad place right now, wouldn't want to push anyone over the edge.
Lets not react to any more of his posts, just let him air his views and ignore him.
I too am guilty of reacting

    Hi bottletop

Sorry to hear things aren't going well for you recently. Is there any possibility of moving into cheaper, rented accommodation?

I don't live in London so it may well be that there are a larger proportion of asian people working in supermarkets etc, but I don't think they are any less deserving of work, whether they live at home or not.

I'm sure you'll find work soon - maybe try an AA or AO job if there are any about? Less pay, but still a job.

    Best of luck.

Bottletop; You have to hang in there with your house. Having a baby is tough as it has a dramatic affect on your life perspective. Your baby just cares about you and your smile nothing else. Money means nothing to it you being there is all it wants. Your partner worries are expected for any new mother.

I've sent you a private message detailing some ideas that you can use that may help you get work. I use to work with the long term unemployed. To get a score of 30 or above you clearly have good communication skills yet you haven't found a way to channel it. Through my experience alot of talented highly intelligent people with no direction are often the hardest ones to find employment as they end up frustrated and resentful. I think this is coming out in your posts. Read my pm and at least try some of my suggestions. A fresh approach does no harm if it has a purpose.

For those working for the dwp and have got an offer be careful. Your customers are not angels. Some of them are cheating the system whether it be working in the families takeaway store or driving a taxi. If you go in with the idea that people going to the jc are honest and desperate then your in for a shock.

If someone is paid cash in hand and taking benefits then it is against the law whether its working in the corner shop, taxi, gardening, bricklaying, pulling pints or takeaway store.

I think about 20% of people are probably fiddling the system.

As a British Asian I must say I truly am proud of how the majority of the British people have a united front against any form or suspicion of racism. Even in this little forum the true British spirit comes to light.

    Very proud!

Three provisional offers and one on waiting list. Just confused now as to where to move to. Any advice people.

Got offers from East Anglia, Leicestershire and North London. On reserve list for East London

For purely selfish reason don’t take North London offer as Iam on the waiting list there with 31 points. The less people that accept theiroffers there the better for me! Onlyjoking and well done. I hope you makethe right decision for you and enjoy the job.

I don't know where this bottle top was , when we were sharing our fears and anxiety on this forum.Bottletop At once like a mushroom you appeared. You gained our sympathy but after reading your racist outlook, I think that dwp is not perfect system to award you respectable score of 30 , you deserved only 00.

    .
Many couples live on benefits , your partner will leave you because you need to learn to respect others and accept your shortcomings . So why the shop manager don't give you job? Because you are lazy, there are plenty of cleaning jobs, support sector jobs. But hey ! You got to believe in hard work if you really want to get one.

Don't be a disgrace. work hard in lidl, I am sure they will hire you, they need staff all the time, due to high attrition rate. I worked there two years ago and it paid my bills.

Sorry I would normally be sympathetic but since its bottletop... BOTTLETOP shouldnt be living beyond his means!!! tell it to jeremy kyle I DONT CARE, we ALL have bills to pay... and instead of filling this forum with his ficticous figures about which employers employ a percentage of employees that are of an "ethnic minority" perhaps he should produce some hard evidence and facts!! I for one am glad he didnt secure a position as it would be very concerning that someone with such views would be working for the DWP.
  • I am a single mother to two children, I scored 37 in total from the interview.

I today received a provisonal offer from North London, however, I am going to have to turn it down as it is too far. I will not be able to travel and collect my kids on time from their childcare providers.

I am hoping that I am offered a post in South London, so I will be able to accept.
