Trust S E Wales to be in the final pair  Feeling a bit vunerable now I've seen the vast range of offer/reserve scores for different regions. Although I noticed someone had an offer for S W Wales yesterday with 33 points so maybe I'll be lucky
Can you remember who said that they had a SE Wales offer?
As inside info from DWP has said no results for SE Wales would be released until 24 April0 -

I'm sympathetic to your situation but that was a bit harsh! All those people need jobs too you know, not just people with children...0 -
Still waiting for west London...0

I applied for North London and scored 33/45. I received news today that i'm on the reserve list.
I have an 8month old baby, a mortgage and a very stressed worried partner who has been waiting like me for this job. I'm going to lose my house my relationship is breaking down and my confidence is on the floor.
I've applied for 200 jobs since november and have a success rate of 0%.
I'm trying not to be bitter about the process and stay positive that perhaps i may still get an offer. But the bottom line is i dont have a provisional offer and I feel like complete !!!! as everything around me is going to go.
My jc advisor will be shocked when i tell her. I really hope people who have been offered jobs in north london do have families and responsbilities like me and arent a bunch of people living with their parents or people who have been in this country 5minutes or people just leaving university.
Stay positive bottletop11.
You're not a failure as a father, you're trying to do your best to secure a job and I bet you're an excellent dad.
I too am long term unemployed for 18 months now and I also have a stressed marriage and a mortgage to pay and kids to support.
Please don't take this the wrong way, but we all have a 'hard luck' story but I am pleased for the people that have been given a provisional offer, be they uni leavers, living with parents or only been in the country 5 minutes.
They all got the jobs on their own merit, yes some of us were unfortunate enough to be on reserve lists, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. Please try to stay positive.
You feel like you're at you're lowest at the moment, but remember that your situation can only get better from here.
I wish you the best of luck0 -

The wages would support my child my partner and keep a roof over our heads. Proper family.
Instead they give jobs to people who live with their parents on people with no xhildren so they can spend their wages on holidays, drinking beer on a friday night.
Reason why there are so many single parent families is because of this reason. Employers are afraid of employing because im concerned about childcare.
Would you see your child discriminated against, in 20/25 maybe even 30 years time? Unable to get a job to kick start their life because they still live at home with you?
These days, more people move back home and live with their parents, but for all manner of reasons - I did it so that I could support my parents in a tough financial situation - for me, it was not right to pay my rent to some anonymous landlord when my parents were struggling and could do with the extra cash. I swallowed my pride and moved into the box room.
And you know, I've now secured a (provisional) job offer advising YOUNG PEOPLE - in advance of starting my own proper family.
I appreciate you're frustrated, but unfortunately you just didn't do well enough this time round. Take something positive from this and channel your frustration - crack on with the next 200 job applications!0 -
I'm not really sure how to put this:
I feel for you having ended up on a reserve list, but that doesn't give you now, nor ever will give you an excuse for racism, particularly in such a public forum.
Perhaps it wouldn't have been the right job for you anyway.0 -
I got it - YAY!!
Applicant Status
: Provisional offer
Congratulations, you have been made an offer, subject to satisfactory pre employment checks (e.g. references, security vetting etc.),
We will be in contact with you regarding the progress of your application.
All the best to those still waiting, hope you all get the job you desire xxxx
Hi!
Well done! Do you mind telling me what your interview score was to get the provisional offer? I scored 36 and been put on the waiting list for northwest.
Any help from anybody else would be much appreciated.
