    Aww

Trouble is we will all now be anxiously waiting. Also crossing fingers toes and anything else that we are not in a region where they are dragging their heels, or the last to send in their lists.

Please Please let me be in the region where they have already accumulated the lists and are ready to go ha ha (hopeful thinking)

To my knowledge last interviews for my region was on the 22 March so thinking positively that they would be well ahead of their game in that just had to await other areas finishing their interviews

    Happy waiting everyone
  • I have now received 6 emails all saying the same... lol... the latter 3 were from the resourcing email, I guess so that it registers in your communication area on the CS website... I know the email doesn't say an awful lot, however it gives hope to us that we haven't been forgotten :)

Sorry my mistake, i thought it was out of 50 (10 for each competency) i did better than i thought :)

They need the passport to prove my residency, its crazy, they can pay me JSA with the I.D I have yet cant be employed as its insufficient?
The manager actually phoned me today to let me know they are trying to get me a payment from the Adviser Discretionary Fund to cover the cost of a passport so it does seem really positive. Fingers crossed i'm sick of being at home all day, Only applied for part time as i've kids at home but I will be so much better off working its just a nightmare where i live to find a job and most i apply for dont even give me an interview as im over qualified, luckily my JS adviser suggested I tried a new career and gave me the application info. She has been an angel but even she finds it frustrating that someone wants to work so much yet can be held back by a passport
Hopefully they can sort it out for me, she did say they werent going to be startinf people for up to 4/6 weeks so I would still have time to get a fast track passport application done

good luck to everyone waiting xx

Hello all, long time no post but still reading EVERY SINGLE DAY. Got the email also (Essex). I'm not enjoying my new nightshift job, as it's only two nights so just every so slightly better than being on the dole, was hoping they'd offer more but there's an overtime ban. Actually taking out travel/expenses/physical pain from hardwork/exhaustion it's probably less than the dole (insert ironic laugh). Lovely to see everybody here still supporting one another, so here we go again.... let's hope it's not so long this time. I'll kinda miss this place once it's over, I've developed a soft spot through the addiction of reading the site every flipping day.

Was there somewhere specific on the application where you had to request part-time? I don't remember seeing this and I will find it difficult to work full time as a single parent... When I was an FTA I worked full time during the term time, and 3 days a week in the school holidays it suited me down to the ground... Can't imagine I would be that lucky again, if I am lucky enough to be offered a job..
