Well done you,:j fingers crossed for me. What did you score in the online test dont know if they look at both of them before you get an interview.

Only got my sift scores today and you got yours back last week so maybe they are looking at them in date they sifted. I sooo hope i have got an interview. Did you get the interview on cs website or personal email

Let me know how you get on hun and congrats again:T

    xx

Thanks :), I got 89% but from reading earlier post I don't think that matters as it only means that at the point of me taking the test I was 89% better than others received so if there was 100 people that applied at that point there would have been 88 people below me. But that's doesn't mean that the next 200 people didn't do better as your score doesn't change. If that makes sense?

I'm sure you will be fine :) let me know how u get on xx

I have had sift feedback posted for North London just now. Marks were OK, but I don't think I'll have done well enough given the level of competition there must be for that area.

I have to say though that both the quality of feedback and the timescale in this recruitment compares very favorably with much I have experienced applying to other employers. How many applications have all of us sent out, just to hear back a deafening silence?

Our local health board, better than some, acknowledges all applications with a standard letter which says that if you have not heard from them again by such and such a date (usually four weeks hence) that you may assume you have not been selected for interview. Not particularly helpful or informative. The DWP's procedure is a paragon in comparison.

How many areas have you applied for Druagh? I've counted 2 Scottish districts, West Yorkshire and North London from your posts so far - you must be fairly mobile or up for a long daily commute!!:rotfl:
  • Hi

I work for DWP at present and have applied for 3 areas. I have had sift reults for Nottingham and have had Derbyshire today, no sign of South Yorks. I scored all 1s for Derbyshire but scored a lot higher than that for Notts.....I think something has gone a bit Pete Tong!!! The feed back for Derbyshire states see Notts app. God knows whats gone off!! Think I will be ringing recruitment helpline on Monday morning :rotfl:
  • I have a question for applicants who applied to multiple areas and who had to do the test for each.

Have the results of your comp sift been carried over or marked individually?

I received the results of one today and am happy with the scores but feel that if they are marked again they may not be the same.

    Any response would be appreciated.

When you say 'scored a lot higher', what were your scores for Notts? Were they enough to potentially get you an interview (ie at least 4 in each category?)

I've applied to two areas. I only had to do the test once, the scores were carried over. My competencies have been marked for one area and not the other. Both are still showing as 'Situational Test Complete'.

Some people have received different marks for different areas with the same competency. Other have had their scores carried over, with the message 'refer to xxxx area for feedback'.

    In short, it's been a bit of a b@lls up!!:rotfl:

I have had 2 out of 4 back and the comps for the one were carried over to the second although I did the test for each.
  • Yes they were. Something has gone wrong somewhere along the line. It will be interesting to see what responce I get on monday from the recruitment help line. I'm not worried cos I am sure there has been an error somewhere along the line...well I hope so lol lol. My husband all applied for the same areas as I did and his sift marks for Notts were way better than mine, so can't wait to see his for Derbyshire!!!!! ;)

    Well remembered devilot :)

I applied to six districts in total. As far apart as North Scotland and North London.

I know it sounds mad on the face of it, but I live on an Island with one Jobcentre. If I am offered a post anywhere else in my current district, I'll have to relocate to take up the job. If I have to move back to the mainland, then my logic is that it makes no difference how far I move!

Following this logic, I applied to all the places where my wife and I have either lived in the past or have friends who would help us settle in.

As I say, it sounds mad, and probably is, but we'll see where it leads...
