Hi thunderplex
I haven't read through all the posts yet as I've been out for a meal so I'm not sure if you've received your scores by now.
Anyway, yes, my surname does begin with a letter in the first 5 of the alphabet.
If you haven't already heard, hopefully you will soon.0 -
Thought I'd give an update for others who may have applied for London districts.
I'm not sure if this applies to all of them but I have a friend who's made some enquiries internally for me.
Basically they will make a decision by the end of next week who is being called in for interview, I've been told they won't be sifting based on the competencies due to the sheer number and time constraints.
Instead it will be based on your test and the panel will have your competencies available during the interview but will also want additional examples.
Bear in districts have autonomy so it may vary with the others.
If this is true then this is good news by my ears as I have missed the competency structure guide.
You said they will have a copy at the interview, does that mean it will still be marked and assessed for the job as there will be no point of the interview for me then, or will we still have a good shot if we pull a successful STAR competency in the interview itself?
If I get called for a interview I'm so going to give them a remade competency statement and force them to take it :mad:0 -
Just had a rejection e-mail for Lancashire :-(
'We are sorry to inform you that your application has been unsuccessful at this stage.'
And that's with Competency scores of 7, 7, 7, 7, 3
So it does seem a 3 or under and you fail them all. Well for that area anyway.
I did send an e-mail to have them look at the 3 again but didn't here anything back.. I have since received a higher mark for the same competency in a different area.
I got the same email for cumbria & lanacashire internal application, i scored 44553,but have not heard from my west yorkshire application, no sift scores, just says awaiting review0 -

Arsh - are you an internal candidate? Lancashire would have been my preferred area but I was told that it would be internal promotions only when I asked at the Jobcentre.0 -
16,17,18,19
and then 20th feb the big day-
You got an interview? Well done!
You mind me asking if this is for E Scotland? I got rubbish scores so not expecting to get an invite to interview, but interested to note my application is still awaiting review.
Presumably they'll try and achieve their quota of accepted invitations to interview before sending out the "thanks but no thanks" email to those who are being rejected at sift.0 -

not sure if that's the case as someone earlier had their rejection e-mail (although it was a different region)0 -
