Weightwatchers Pro-Points Allowance!

Bear with me please... this is money-saving.
Does anyone know/have information as to how to work out the daily pro-points weight allowance for WW? I have just googled it and not had much luck - one formula I used shows that it's 21 points but I don't think that sounds right.
Any help would be appreciated as the meetings are about £6 each and I just can't afford. Apologies if this isn't strictly money-saving but I am sure someone will let me know anyway...
Thank-you.

Hi Yasmin
They calculate based on age, height, weight and average level of activity. However, have you considered doing the online plan?
I have recently started this and I found a code that meant I paid £30 upfront for 3 months. I can cancel then if I want, or pay £11ish a month after that. It's obviously cheaper than meetings and the resources and the food database really are very good.
Good luck!

Hi,
Thank-you for that. I am trying to avoid joining so I don't pay any money. I don't feel like I can justify it when I have almost £10,000 debt.

I can't find where you would work out your daily allowance... but I can tell you this:
Every day, everyone has a MINIMUM of 29 ProPoints. For example, because I am really quite fat (hopefully a temporary thing), I actually have 35 ProPoints a day.
You cannot carry them over and you SHOULD use them all.
Additionally, EVERYONE has 49 ProPoints a week. These are for any extras you want and can be used throughout the week or all in one day, however you CANNOT carry them over to the next week.
So, I would say if you are not loads overweight then go for the 29 a day + 49, or if you are more then go for more (my BMI is currently around the 35 mark if that helps you work it out...)

Ok, I am 11st 10lbs and I figured that my allowance without the weekly 49 points is 21. Does that sound about right? My BMI is 28.5.
Thank-you.

I am doing it online at the mo and they have lowered all the points allowances. Was originally on 29 a day now they have put me on 27. Plus still the weekly allowance of 49. I think they were finding the points too generous.Total weight lost 6.5/73lbs starting yet again. Afds August 10/15. /8 Sept.0

I just tested that with mine and it gave me 27, which is below the minimum of 29, and well off of the 35 that WW are telling me!

I remember wanting to know my points allowance once without joining, so I googled weight loss forums and someone worked mine out for me.
You could always just go to one meeting and find out what you need to know then don't go back! Often the first meetings are free.£18,000 loan from my parents used to pay off all credit cards and overdraft
