Like I said the points system has changed recently so minimum daily points are no longer 29 but minimum is now 26.

Not sure if this helps but the weight watchers magazine (february issue) has a voucher for free membership and the first meeting for free so you could go to the first meeting for the price of the magazine which is £2.75.0

Guys,
Thank-you for all the suggestions. I tried the e-how website and it gave me an allowance of 21 which made me think it wasn't quite correct. The first meeting is tmrw so i may just attend and not turn up to the next ones...I just think £5.99 is excessive but it sounds like I will have to pay as I desperately need to lose weight...as you can probably tell lol.
thank you all :T:TDebt outstanding [STRIKE]£3491.[/STRIKE] £3303

Hi!!
I am a clerk for my ww leader (and a gold member after years of faffing.. so luckily I don't pay). The plan has recently altered and the minimum points per day is 26 and they are worked out using the nutritional values of foods. My advice would be to obtain a ww calculator either on ebay (cheap option just beware of people selling the old stuff off as new this has happened to a few people I know) or from ww - this will help you immensely as it works out your personal daily pro points, you can use it to track your pp and you can work out the pp of foods on it too. Or alternatively if you don't want to count points go to the ww website and get the filling and healthy list - you can eat freely from this list but only until you are satisfied (this doesn't work for everyone though) but this is just a list that you can get from the site and print off/download - no other cost!
Hope this helps!!0 -

I have posted on there a online calculator which works out the propoints in foods & also there is a calculator to work out how many point a person should be having.
Also not sure if you saw it but in the last week's newsletter there was an article about getting 3 months membership at WW through Topcashback where it works out to be free.
hope that helps!DF as at 30/12/16

Why did they drop it to 26pp? I lost 8 stone doing 29pp. At 26pp people are losing a days worth of food in every week and merely makes it a 1000 calorie a day diet. Seems bizarre to me, but here is a free calculator.

The allowance is based on your height, weight and gender. You have more to start off with and as you lose weight your points drop. The minimum is 26. 21 is way too low.
I am 5ft 6 and currently weigh 13 st 4lb - I have lost four stone so far. My points are now on 27 but I am more comfortable on 28 and am continuing to lose on this. The 49 weekly points are a life saver (wine allowance I call them :rotfl:) You cannot carry any points over from day to day or your weekly points. You should eat all dailies and your weeklies if you can. You can earn points for activity.
I clerk at a meeting too. WW is the only way I can lose weight, it works for me. :T
Good luck.Joined WW again!! in November 2010 - four stone loss so far :T
