  • Not meaning to sound childish or anything but how about u having a word with the OP for calling me a long time MSE member a TROLL.
You were not exactly called a troll but merely asked whether you were trolling now - a valid question looking at your posts in an attempt to defraud Sky.

Thanks Tropez - atlantis, my knickers are perfectly untwisted thanks, I was answering your question, and it would seem I made an observation that others might have agreed with. The whole point of my post is that you seem to have thought very hard to think of a really devious way to do something (and I've got absolutely no problem with people shafting Sky!) when it would be really easy to do legitimately.
I don't think you need to be much of a 'clever clogs' to look up some satellite (or aerial) installers in your local Yellow Pages and get a couple of quotes, or yell.com for example online. No-one can quote you without seeing your house, but under £50 should be possible if it's simple.

So the engineer came out from sky on friday to install the 1TB box along with multiroom, I asked him politely if he would be willing to run me another cable from the dish for freesat and for this I would pay him. He was a stuck up jack !!! his reply was "has it been authorised by sky". Obviously it hasnt been authorised u fool thats the reason i'm willing to pay u.
Anyway in the end he didnt do it.

Today I rang sky to cancel within my 30 days cooling period they have arranged a de-install for next week and all they said is the guy would come and just take the 1TB box away, I asked about the cabling he has put in and they said that would remain as in future if I did want multiroom its already set to go.

Have order one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004S9OT92/sr=8-1/qid=1326647094/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&qid=1326647094&sr=8-1&seller=
which sould come next week and am set to go.
  • Atlantis187 you wanna stop being a peasant and put your hand in your pocket, trying to save a couple of quid , tricking sky . You piece of scum

    Sure, nothing really stopping you.

The engineer who installed the box will not receive his pay for that job. I wouldn't do it for that reason alone.

Just out curiosity, how do you know the engineer wont receive his pay?

You do realise you are responding to a post that was made in January? The poster concerned hasn't logged on since October.
