I wish people who do not live in N. Ireland......

would stop comenting on posts on our N. Ireland board! I have just logged on and the first 2 posts (maternity related and MOT related) I read have comments from people who live on the Mainland and these comments do not relate to N. Ireland!!!!!!!!!

    Excuse me for being a poorly educated English person but with my limited intelligence I am struggling to see where it says the posts are exclusively yours, I believe this would be discriminatory, as it would be to exclude you and your opinions from ours.

    Unfortunately quite often, an outsider will comment with their knowledge of a certain situation not understanding that we're a bit backwards over here and do things differently. Nothing here is simple hence we ask the yokels for their opinion and not the general population :beer:

    Don't worry, the English are only more poorly educated, on average... Speaking as an Englishman with a school age child, I found it shocking how much better the schools are over here, than in Hertfordfordshire...

    The point of the OPs lament was more to do with posting cluelessly, than anything else. If someone jumps in with comments which don't apply in the jurisdiction of the original questioner, it derails things a bit. Posting on a question about MOTs in NI requires an understanding that the rules are different to the UK norm, for example.
