Davidcampebell, I think you're right about the ctc's, its just co-incidence, not so confident in the call centre's as you though! All I know is the line went dead and I didn't hang up first.....!Make the most of life, it is not a rehearsal!0

Cymraeg wrote:IN the T's & C's for a cardcash account , Halifax say that they can take standing orders out a day early if they want and tuff titty if you don't like it , including Sundays !! . This doesn't mean , of course , that they clear cheques a day earlier !
As one of the earlier posters said , set these payments up as Bill Payments and you have total control over what goes to who and when. This way , you can always be sure the funds are available before payment is made , and they still show up as a standing order on your statements .
OMG !!!
thats shocking
all my standing orders go out on pay day
prob best if i cancel them all and do the bill paying thing aswell
thanks for pointing this out Cymraeg
am desperate to get away from the Halifax0 -
Sunflower - you and me both! my only consolation is - I reckon that with constantly changing my standing orders every week (normally without the problems I had this time!) I do get my money's worth!
