Alternatives to Microsoft Money/Quicken?

I have been using Quicken for 20 years. I have an extremely complicated financial setup, and I can guarantee you that none of the other alternatives come close to the support that Quicken offers.
I have accounts in the U.S., Sweden, and at Natwest in the UK. Natwest supports Quicken downloads. All the U.S. banks and brokers accounts support quicken downloads. No one in Sweden supports Quicken downloads, so that is a manual entry.
Quicken has fantastic multi-currency support, which no competitor has.
Quicken supports downloads from Interactive Brokers, by far the best brokerage. Interactive does not interface with any other software, including Yodlee.
I tried Yodlee. It is a joke. I can't connect Natwest or Interactive Brokers, and those are my two most important accounts. I doubt it has multi-currency support. I didn't get that far.
Mint is a joke for people with serious requirements.
LoveMoney doesn't handle brokerage accounts at all. Please help me understand who would use this service.
Just buy the desktop edition of Quicken for the U.S., and do your banking at Natwest in the UK and you will be fine.0 -

I was with you right to that last statement. If all you want is one current account in the UK, then may be Natwest isn't a bad choice. But if you want any savings accounts and multiple current accounts, then you are very badly served by Natwest (or in fact, by any other single UK bank).0 -
I don't keep any money in a savings account in the U.K, or anywhere else for that matter. Interest rates are less than inflation. I just keep as little as is necessary in a current account, and the rest at Interactive Brokers.
I am probably not typical of the forum users, so maybe my viewpoint is not relevant.0 -

Ive used quicken here in the uk wih my many natwest accounts since 1997 and have always been able to download all of my account data in one file to update quicken. So i do not understand why you would say what you do. It also downloads my (self employed) business current and savings in the one download.
I am using the last version of quicken uk, 2004.0 -

I haven't said anything at all against Quicken.0 -
My interpretation of innovate's comment was that she was implying that Natwest's savings account was inadequate or that UK banks in general or their savings accounts in general are inadequate. This would be completely off-topic and doesn't interest me.
I am using Quicken 2012 from the U.S. It is a fantastic piece of software. One can certainly use it with UK accounts, and I am not aware of any UK specific shortcomings.
You will need to purchase OFX2QFX from Propersoft in order to import Natwest's OFX downloads into Quicken. I chose Natwest entirely because of its connection to Quicken, although it has fortunately been the case that Natwest has great customer service also.0 -

Although I do not use all of the features in Quicken, I have 2001 Deluxe(UK version).
It installs perfectly well in Windows 7 and I have no problems.
I would be nice to have a updated version but that seems unlikely.0 -
Hi
Has anyone used the following software:
http://www.jiosoft.co.uk/index.php
The software looks ok. I am using ms money 2005 at present but am thinking I need an alternative especially now my money is not working with nationwide.
Many thanks in advance.

Never heard of them before and a quick Google suggest hardly anybody else has either. That doesn't mean their software is bad, and data import from MS Money might make it a viable upgrade from MS Money.
How would you ascertain they aren't nicking your bank login data?
Shame they don't do a trial version. If you are going to use them, please let us know how you get on.0
