    Evening everyone

Well we have arrive safely at Bordeaux, quite uneventful journey, though a tad long. The Premiere Classe I booked has a walk along a busy road to the Campanile restaurant, which was OK on a summer evening, but not very tempting on a cold winters night, so I said to DH, well I have everything with us to make a nice salad, and some soft brown seeded bread buns from Aldi, so this is what we had for tea tonight, saved a fair bit too. I had emptied my fridge into my coolbag ;) Just on my third coffee, as I limit the amount while travelling for obvious reasons, and need to catch up.:D:D

    Evening all

Sounds like some of you have had horrific days  have a dodgy hug from me :grouphug:

Beth - glad it went well today x

I'm shattered :( my staff conference was ok, but such a long drive back (2.5hrs), even though I wasn't driving! But we had fun on the drive back.
I was very un OS and bought a takeaway on way back, too tired to cook.

I'm going to pack a few boxes then get an early night

So many people to thank. Your kindness overwhelms me and is my undoing. Matter of factness I can cope with but kindness sends me into a jelly. Amazing how empty the house seems without a small black and white cat.

My sadness is as nothing compared with what so many of you are enduring. I wish I could gather you all up and give you hugs, hot chocolate and yellow roses, but will have to content myself with offering you all my love and prayers. It's all I have.

No news of Roo I see.

Sleep tight, and my hopes for a pain-free night for all who are suffering.

    Evening Everyone

Just caught up properly with todays thread.

Not much os for me today, feel quite tired, work was hard going today at school, some of them are just so rude and dont know the first thing about manners, only a small minority mind. My first week of doing 2 days instead of 5. DS2 was awake till 1.30am last night, he wasnt happy to get up at 6.30 this morning. Still waiting for an appointment for camhs. Sorted out ds2 ingredients as he is making hm veg soup tomorrow, so I will get some crusty rolls to have with it tomorrow. Had omlettes for tea, quick and easy. Just having a bit of a surf now before bed.

Uolypool - what a shock, hope your ds made a speedy recovery.
Beth - glad the op went ok, sending positive vibes for your results.
Bramble - thinking of you and hope today went as well as can be expected.
Monnogran - sorry to hear about your poor cat ((hugs))
HH - what disgraceful behaviour, hope you are ok.
JG - enjoy the rest before roo arrives.
Lw - I am yet another that enjoy your posts, no disappearing.

Mrs Mix - hope you feel better soon.

  • Hi everyone
Not much done today unfortunately. Autoglass booked for today and arrived with wrong screen so they have to come back tomorrow. Window fitter booked for this afternoon cancelled and rebooked for next week so not very impressed.
Also need to contact Fisher Price as LO’s main Christmas present doesn’t work:mad:
Got quite a bit to get organised the next few days as OH goes into hospital on Thursday for dental surgery so need to get shopping list done for him to go out Wednesday. I hope we get everything as having PTSD I won’t be able to get out.
LO is 3 ½ months now and is really getting his own little character. He is so responsive and everyone is amazed that he is only a few months old. :)
    Take care fellow posters.
