    Morning everyone

Bramble - hope everything goes as well as these things can x

Be - hugs and good vibes coming your way x

Love and hugs to those that are having a hard/sad time at the moment x

Not sure what the weather's like outside as it's still dark and I haven't been out yet! But it's definitely not raining! DH up and off to work at stupid early o'clock.

Weekend has been lovely, was my birthday on Saturday, DH had an all day meeting, so I took the boys to carry my bags whilst I had a bit of retail therapy, (they had xmas vouchers burning holes in their pockets too!), we then had a pizza lunch (definitely not OS but a bday treat!) then friends and my parents visited for food and drinks in the evening. DS1 had Rugby training yesterday and so we're back to the normal routine, whatever normal is! Made a bit of a boo-boo on Sat evening when everyone left I got the meat out to defrost for lunch yesterday, and it was a large piece of gammon and it hadn't completely defrosted - so had to buy another joint of meat and once the gammon was defrosted cook that too. So have decided to have gammon, egg and chips tonight for dinner, the rest will be for sandwiches and use up the LO roast etc on Wednesday night - I'll make a pot of gravy and re-heat the meat that way - I won't throw anything away!

I'm working today and tomorrow, half day on Wednesday then I'm on days off and have the next week off on hols, so am looking forward to using that time constructively, will be gutting the kitchen and sorting my cupboards, hoping also to maybe finish the gloss painting upstairs - we'll see.

Hugs to those that want/need them, keep safe and well x

    Morning All

    Happy Birthday mummysaver :bdaycake:

Best wishes and everything crossed for you today beth x

Bramble I hope that everything goes as well as it can today ((((Hugs))))

Had a carp night's sleep spent most of the night awake and so I gave up and got out of bed at 4am :( So most of the housework is done and all that is left is to vacuum round. I will probably try and have a nap this afternoon.

DH has gone off to work and the sprogs are still in bed = lovely peace and quiet for a little while longer, but I will call DD in a little while because she has college today.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

    Morning All,

Thinking of Beth and Bramble today
nmlc Belated Birthday Wishes for Saturday, glad you had a nice day

First day of SW today. So tea is chicken wrapped in bacon with new potatoes and green beans, breakfast will be 2 weetabix and an omlette and salad for lunch. Have decided I will join a class on Thursday, think I need it and it will be worth the £5. I want to lose a stone by my birthday at the end of Feb, very doable if I just get on and bloomin do it:mad: sorry for the rant I just annoy myself.
Everyone has gone off to work and school so its nice and peaceful now.
Already emptied and loaded the DW and put a white load in. House is reasonably tidy.
Another one here who cannot sleep. The move to Australia is on my mind. I really want to go but its still a big move and keeping me awake.:o
So will try for a little nap and a quiet day. may try and read my book.
The other think is to get on and register with the agency for tutoring which I must do today.
    Have a good Monday all J x
