:o I also have boxes of 'stuff to sort out' and paperwork in there. The whole room is crammed.
Now i have my craft storage area though i can start to clear some space which will in turn let me work through the boxes - there is a load of stuff in there for selling so its really going to help me get on top of this stuff
I'm going to do some of my regular online earning stuff this morning and then get stuck in - wish me luck

Found the thread again Fairy, so will try and join in to keep me motivated.
I'm a sucker for lists - love them!! But my trouble is that I usually spend so much time thinking about what needs doing, making lists of what needs doing, planning how I'm going to do things etc, then have no time to actually get anything done:rotfl:
So this afternoon when I was going to come on here and make my list, I thought NO no no!! I'm just going to do a couple of the bits that would be on the list. and it doesn't count as cheating if I now list it and can cross it off straight away!! I prefer to call it motivation rather than cheating:cool:
[STRIKE]1. Hoover DS1s bedroom, properly for once including under cot, and moving all toys etc to do the edges rathe than cheating and just doing the middle like normal! [/STRIKE]:rotfl: Done, and looks much better so nice and satisfying!
[STRIKE]2. Change cot bedding - don't do this half as often as I should
[/STRIKE][STRIKE]3. Put 1 load of washing on[/STRIKE]
4. Make a start on the ironing mountain. Lets say 20 items to make it more measurable! 13 done but then dinner was ready. Will try and muster up some motivation, or rather Ebay packing procrastination, to do the other 7 now!
[STRIKE]5. Clean toilet[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]6. Hoover hallway and clean the floor[/STRIKE]
7. Hoover living room floor Not yet, might just have to sweep it as won't have time before DS1 goes to bed so don't want the hoover to wake him!
8. Pack Ebay parcels (currently 4 of 6 paid for that need to go) Most likely will be put off till very last minute. Hate this job!
9. Get Swagbucks up to 849 for Amazon voucher (currently on 722 so shouldn't take too long)
10. Find water bills that need paying! They're around here somewhere!! :rotfl:Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
Yey hello monkeynut :hello: great to have you join us
Well done on everything achieved today!! Its not cheating at all to add things to the list that you have done before writing the list - I do it all the timeOften i end up adding other things i have done that weren't on the list too
main thing is being able to recognised all the things you have achieved in the day cos often we don't even think about what we did do and focus on the stuff not done - this is about turning that thought pattern around
Sammy - that was a motivated day, i did get stuck in but unfortunately the room is as bad as ever again :rotfl: At least i have sold some bits out of there since my last tidy in the room of doom hahahaha
psychopathbabble - great to see you add a wee list againwell done for adding some more smilies today and hope you start feeling better soon xxx

CBT is Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, rather than me explain it badly, best to google it"One hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much was in my bank account, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little bit better because I was important in the life of a child."0

Newbie here!!
Thanks Fairy for posting the link for me
Right, having a tough time so i'm gonna try and come up with 10 positive steps to get me through the day.
Hello to everyone... I'm normally only found in the "Make £10 a Day" postings, but i've been told this group is just as friendly so here i am
Right then.... 10 poisitive steps.... (Sorry if they are rubbish, but i'm new )
1) Go to the gym for 1 hour! I'm stuck in the contract for a couple of month so i might as well use it. Haven't been for 5 weeks  DONE :j
2) Do 5 ebay listings DONE
3) Basic housework duties DONE!
4) Look through my bare cupboards and try and come up with a decent tea for the kids DONE! (SPAG BOL)
5) Sort the cupboard under the stairs. Believe me, this is gonna take at least 2 hours! Its full of carp! Might find some goodies for ebay tho
6) Try to fit in an hours studying (I'm doing a degree with OU) DONE
7) Put a load of washing in DONE, and on the line
8) Open all the post (no hiding it :rotfl: ) DONE (no post)
9) Catch up on my jobs at work tonight DONE
10) This is my biggy.... To try and get through the hole day without hiding away somewhere to cry. Honestly, i don't seem to be able to get through the day at the minute without having a 10 minute sob to myselfTOTAL FAIL!
Right.... there we go.... Let see if i can actually do it
Have a nice day everyone! Will mark off what i achieve throughout the daySlimming World Challenge 2017 0/30.5lb
